Another reason to root and living the Android system. The LMT Launcher has got to be the most comprehensive customized launcher I've come across.

Just got this phone and been using it for only 3 weeks and its totally mind breaking. The most important thing I look for in a phone is sluggishness and I can comfortably say this device is not sluggish is any way. The features on the device allows me to multitask just like working on my PC (which I rarely use these days). This phone is just awesome. Please go get one and see for yourself.

mo, 06 Feb 2013Btw is it compatible with the note 2?I would think it does, as the Note II has a better engine.

I can't find the app. Sketchbook Pro works with layers and can save them in Photoshop format.

Whats the difference between a Samsung galaxy grand and this phone what this has a galaxy grand has except for the 4G thing which i don't think anyone uses. Better than this save rs.18000 and buy a Samsung galaxy grand.

The Autodesk Sketchbook app seems to be working out for me in painting some portraits with the Note II. Here's my latest:

The paid version has more tools. The free version should convince you enough with the essentials. I've only been doing digital art since the Note 1 over a year ago. I'm a watercolorist, but this device has given me some practice as I thought how "pocket pcs" should have been done 10 years ago with the ability to do art anywhere. I just wished more pixel density was integrated for better details.

Ive seen the photo edditing software but it lacks a lot of features photoshop touch has. The note 2 acts as a tablet and phone therefore i can carry it anywhere while editing drawings with the S pen. Try Juice Defender that turns off your radios. My past posts already suggested One Power Guard that only works with a rooted device. It tweaks the CPU frequency and kernel managements depending on what situation you need.

I suspect your battery is already half of its capacity to maintain a power chaerge especially by doing overnight charges that maintains 100% for extra hours of overcharging daily.

Those regular frequecies of social network updates & syncs increases power usage. Juice defender Ultimate (no need to root) would also have you decrease the update time, say only every 2 hours.

Or, turn off your syncs and alerts until you want to check.

Reset and reinstall all apps make no diff ... i tried.. the drain is still unbelievable.

It works good if its only minimal apps installed . .like watsapp only .. but once u install skype / viber .. msn and all the etc .. it drains too fast!! .. Not good at all.. is there a solution??

Anonymous, 06 Feb 2013Same here... i have a feeling .. but i am not sure.. As ... moreBattery life, which is the battery's capacity to hold the power decreases after a few hundred charging cycles (usually 500). You would need to replace to a new battery esapecially if it's 2 years old. Invest on the original extra. It also helps you maintain your charge between 20% to 80% to keep it optimized. It can twice prolong battery charge cycles.

The more apps that need to update and need internet access increases power consumption. Updated OS add stuff or has bloatware that you don't need. I could advice you to root, and use Titanium Backup to manipukate apps & data freezing, deletion or update savings. But the simpliest if you are non-fussy user is to reset the entire device and reinstall essential apps.
