Best phone I bought since last 13 years, and yes i had an iphone too. Been using Note 2 for a month and am very happy with it. It's more of a phone-tablet.

I don't think adding more megapixels to the camera for the note3 is going to do much good, there's just not enough light coming through such a small lens.

You don't need any screen protector for the Note II just as I've been telling people for the Note I.

The matte or the anti-glare type refracts the lights off the pixels and seems like you have little rainbows all over the screen. I enjoy the pure screen clearness and I hate seeing the dirt accumulating at the edge of the sticker protector.

The Corning Gorilla glass II is used. It's scratch resistant and strong with chemical enhancements. Although I've heard a rare instance of the screen breaks after a fall. So you do need some cover for the sides that helps the impact shock.

I love the 9.4mm thin profile of this or even with the first Note 1 at 9.7mm. A simple silicone covering the sides and wrapping some 2mm of the front glass edges is good enough.

I've seen Otterbox' Commuter ($50) and Defender ($85) series for a bit more higher protection from impacts are good investments. But anything that has similar properties are about $5 to $10 only.

Use google play, pay the $1-$2 and support the programmers.

If they make money from apps they will spend more time developing and we get better apps at the end of the day.
