helopilot, 12 Jan 2013incredible you can charge a 3100mha battery for the note ll... more3 to 5 hours r u kidding me do one thing charge ur phone while its off it sud take apprx max 1 hour to charge from 0% to 100% and if it charges in approx 1 hours turn on ur phone and get ur phone scanned for viruses or u can also kill all apps running in background and clear ram and charge it and if it still taking 3 to 5 hours show it to service centre it is repaired or replaced if poosible enjy...!

AnonD-77443, 12 Jan 2013Sorry but it is mathematically impossible to charge a 3100m... moreSorry but u cannot stop the technology to get advanced if ur note 2 is taking more time to charge get ur phone checked there might be some app running in the background which is eating ur battery while charging .kill all inactive apps and clear ur RAM b4 charging it sud not take more than1 hour as a maximum time to charge ur phone in my case it is approx 50 mins .i think they made it possible according to math so that u can spend more time with ur note 2 . And there r lots of phone using the same tech .go read the CES gsm arena news u will find lots of latest smartphones r using the fast charging tech and i think it will be a smartphones standered in 2013 .

helopilot, 12 Jan 2013incredible you can charge a 3100mha battery for the note ll... moreYour Note 2 takes 3 and ahlaf hour to charge with the original charger? That sounds impossible, you must have changed to a non-original usb cable.
Its easy to think that "a cable is a cable" and you may think that the charger will not know the difference, i used to think so too but then i came across this Sony charger with a boost charging, an that boost charging worked only with the original Sony cable.
Go back to your original, and unfortunately somewhat short, Note 2 USB cable and your charging times will be twice as fast.

But if I use nokia cable or may be Htc cable. it takes more time than usual. I just love my Galaxy Note II. Cheers. .

it doesn't matter what is the kind of the cable
it's related to the charger it self and the massive battery 3100 mah

My note 2 charges in a bit under 3 hours which is still really quick. If i use the old note or s2 charger its more like 5 hours.

I started using this amazing stuff past a week...its absoloutely fab....1000's of options and applications...donnow words to explain...its cent percent user friendly and money worth !!!!

jay, 11 Jan 2013thanks parag,i was facing lot of problem because of battery... moreI wud say do not use nokia cable for this phone use only supplied charger and cable for this device and sorry but i do not think the cable is cheap built and not durable cause once i rolled my chair on that cable by mistake and that too on the charging point and it is still intact. Go buy another cable if at all the previous one is damaged cause using damaged cable or diffrent cable can cause damage to our precious phone and costly battery. My phone takes approx 50 mins to charge from 0 % to 100%. Its that fast and that is one of the reasons i like note 2 a lot .enjoy...!

battery=> I have been using mine all day with really heavy use and am still at 50%
Since you apparently love your note features i'll suggest u to go for ze note2
