the basic differences are --
screen size is increased by a 0.2 inch, yet the width is less...processor is enhanced, a huge battery, more camera features. s pen has made a giant leap towards being perfect..
you can definitely upgrade to Note II GT-N7100

Great phone with great features, quality and value. The best thing is the super amoled screen technology that is pleasant view and comfortable to eyes with sharp colour.Many others phone screen have so much extra lights coming from the base that feels uncomfortable and even can damage the eyes if you use long time. Thanks Samsung.

Nothing else will even compare. It has a good RAM, High Processing capabilities, and a huge battery. Basically these are the points that matter the most and the Note 2 just does it superbly, you have to use it to believe it. It is a cery dependable smartfone/phablet, and its features are quie too numerous to be described here.
The only downside to it is the size, but thats unavoidable for a big screen fone. So if you have big hands (like me) then this is not probles at all.

I'm using it from 3mnths. fully satisfied with it.
