I have the North American version with little to no data plan. I always use WiFi, and I love this phone! The speed of use on daily things is awesome! I came from the Sony Ericsson Experia mini pro with several apps that kill the old phone. The Note 2 handles them plus some without an issue great build Samsung!

SSJ4, 02 Dec 2012I already bought my Samsung Galaxy Note II. Every good thi... moreThe yellow is not from an angle, but when view straight on, and its not even yellow but yellowish magenta. Its hard to see for the average eye, as you also have proven if you really cannot see it. It is there but its so little that its not a problem, color tint is still far better than even the SAMOLED+ display of S2. However, just as other samsung amoled phones also the Note II is very bad when it comes to color saturation, but this can be adjusted down from the ridiculous default setting and then it looks quite ok.
About yellow and blue tint, another thing to consider is color blindness, maybe like one percent of the worlds male population have blue-yellow color blindness, for them the blue (when tilted) could probably appear as yellowish.

Anonymous, 01 Dec 2012Note 2 is rewamp of note one, why is broadness compromised ... moreWhat's that? Buy note 1? Absolutely not, it's a quite uninteresting phone, there's not much good about it. Note 2 however is totally amazing. 2gb ram is a minimum requirement now, makes a huge difference and still that is only one of the many advantages.
Not to mention design, note 1 with its tasteless iphone looks, it really look like an iphone on steroids and that's just stupid. And penTile display? Big big no Thanx from me.

astroboy36, 02 Dec 2012its easy to transfer file from built-in SD card to Ext.-SD ... moreThanks for the reply dude. I really appreciate it. However, I tried it man. Can only transfer files other than the application I downloaded.
Read from other Android forums that currently apps can just be downloaded to the phone's internal memory. I guess will just wait for Android OS upgrade. Maybe Google will allow to transfer the apps to be transferred to SD again like what they did with the Gingerbread version.

I love this phone, but one small remark, I set it with all the power consuming options low and it still chewed 5% of the battery in 10h (while I was sleeping, so the screen was turned off). That means about 200 h of standby for me. It's still a huge battery lasted 2 days while playing/calling/surfing the net, but it seems I can't get to those 980h...

I already bought my Samsung Galaxy Note II. Every good thing I heard from the users are true about the big screen and fast performance. Unfortunately, there are two bad things about it. First is that I cannot transfer my installed apps to the SD card. I tried using apps like Link2SD, and App2SD. However, none of them works. Can someone help me please?
Lastly, when I view the screen at extreme angles screen turns blue (not yellow as per comments of some users here who definitely do not have the Samsung Galaxy Note II).
But as a whole, at the end of the day, I really love my newly acquired future proof smartphone! Just hope in the future OS upgrades, transfer of apps to SD will be allowed.
