peach, 20 Nov 2012Guys what does USB stand for?USB (Universal Serial Bus)
USB is a standard for a wired connection between two electronic devices, including a mobile phone and a desktop computer. The connection is made by a cable that has a connector at either end. One end, the one that plugs into the computer, is the same across all USB cables while the one that plugs into the mobile device can be of various types such as miniUSB, microUSB or a proprietary connector.
USB version 1.1 provides maximum speeds of up to 1.5 MB/s while the current version 2.0 is about 40 times faster. The versions are backwards compatible and the speed is limited by the slower device. Transferring data may require drivers to be installed on the desktop computer but some phones offer "mass storage" mode which means they appear as thumb drives to the computer and no special drivers are needed.
In addition to their data transferring application, USB cables also carry an electric charge that can be used to power peripherals (such as USB mice or keyboards), and many mobile phones can be charged through their USB port.
And For More Info you can get it in Glossary GSMARENA

bok, 20 Nov 2012and you are suggesting what? hahaha. Note is a very very po... moreYou sound illiterate in terms of mobile technology. For your information, its my fourth year in computer engineering in the university of texas and every weekend I work part time with mobile developers. Ask learned people about this things they will tell you that IPhone And HTC uses a quantum technology which is durable and feasible and allured. I guess you left school without finishing at varsity. There's a room to learn for people like you who go after popularity.

I have used sets from almost every big manufatures and i had been a big time fan of HTC & sony.
When I used Note 1 & now switched to Note 2; I have to admit that samsung is most proactive and currently the best brand. Note 2 has everything except the display which could have been better; but I think samsung has reserved the better display for next NOTE.... Lets see.
Fully satisfied with NOTE 2 now waiting for NOTE 3 :) :) :)

this is one of the rare cases when a mobile phone just has everything. large screen, large battery, excellent s pen features, smooth operating system, excellent camera, great processor, and way too many great things to write in a small space. in ten years time people will remember this as one of the best phones ever made and will have wonderful nostalgic memories about it. this is a true classic.

i will start my talking that am not a fanboy, the phone is a real beast in everything, but the display is a huge let-down really samsung non-pentile my a$$ i have passed through lot of stores and i have seen about 15 devices and they all have the same yellow screen with too too too much saturated colors , dont get fooled like me by looking at just at the device because i have done that and i was amazed by the screen and i have bought one but after using it for a while i have noticed that the screen is a mess up if want to buy the phone just take a note 1 or iphone 4 or 4s with you ( which known for their great display ) and open pages with white background on the phones and u will notice the difference and u will thank me for not buying this phone which i really love it in every term nothing could beat this phone , but the display huh... fu**CK u samsung the note 1 is much better in sharpness and colors i wished if they have made this phone with the note 1 display and am selling my phone after 3 days cause what really matters for me is the display i would go for a slower phone but not this buggy display , P.S dont buy this without comparing it to different phones in WHITE background at full brightness and u r welcome

people who complain about plastic really need to chill out. Most people put a case on the phone (yes on iphones too). Doesn't that make them feel plastic too? Give me a break.
Have you ever thought the benefits it brings? Removable battery for example (its a deal breaker for me) and sd card. Samsung is one of the few who keeps this amazing option. Mostly going unibody following the iphone. For example HTC one, nexus 4 to name a few.
How do u make a phone out of metal and with removable battery? yea good luck.
Plastic is used because its lightweight compared to other materials. Good luck holding a metal phone the size of the Note 2. Even the nokias feel bulky.
I'll take plastic with all the great options (sdcard, removable battery, light weight, and less signal interference) to high quality glass or other material.
Galaxy Note 2 is awesome as it is.. nuff said

This phone changed my view about android. I'm surprise how smooth it is. It is a HUGE upgrade from my s2. Samsung continues to surprise us... i'm not sure if its the quadcore exynos or the jellybean butter but its amazing.
It exceeded my expectations. I'm a happy camper..thx samsung

Definitely better than One X
Anyway The size and weight factor is a big no-no for those who don't want bulky devices like myself.
for moderate users the "One X Plus" would essentially make better experience since its essentially just as powerful on a much lighter and more compact design.
