Roy, 19 Oct 2012I Purchased Galaxy Note 2 in the last week. But If I open ... moreMost devices will warm up a little if under really heavy load. Normally my note 2 is at 28deg C... however if i do a lot of web browsing over 3G it will jump to low 30's. This is still a lot cooler than the note and perfectly acceptable.

Roy, 19 Oct 2012I Purchased Galaxy Note 2 in the last week. But If I open ... moreI dont have any issue regarding warming even while surfing, facebook, downloading movies through torrent. If you take that to service centre, only thing they will suggest is flashing, which will the only solution if it is software conflict, but if overheat problems persists after flashing then there will be some hardware issue. I had faced the same problem with HTC One X, so it was replaced.

AnonD-76440, 19 Oct 2012Hi everyone! Please inform me that The screen protector is ... moreI had a Screen Protector on my Note-II, front is high quality scratch guard which is good, does not reduce the senstivity of SPen, and at the back on the plastic cover I opted for a matte finish lamination which serves two purposes, keeps my shiny back in good condition and also avoid slipping from hands, in case you are not careful in handling. Back attracts lot of finger prints so it also keeps me from cleaning it every now and then

Mick, 19 Oct 2012It's good to hear all the positive things regards to note 2... moreDisclaimer: I don't own a Note 2 yet, but I'm planning to get one as soon as it becomes available in my country.
From what opinions/reviews I saw about the Note II this what some people complained about:
- Size - I won't go into details as you said you are aware of this
- Applications can't be installed on the SD card - given that only the 16GB version is available yet and the effective space available to the user is ~10GB this might be a real annoyance if you plan on installing a lot of big games.
- Camera performance not great under low light conditions - I don't think it matters that much, if you want quality photos you should get a DSLR anyway.
- No dedicated camera key - I never understood why some phones have a hardware key for the camera, I use the browser a lot more often and I never saw a browser key.
- Being made of plastic / being ugly - that's a matter of personal preference, I think it looks great
- There are other phones with faster CPU/GPU - it may not be the fastest but it sure is fast enough for just about anything you might run on it. I personally hoped it would come with Mali 600 not for more performance, but for OpenGL ES 3.0 support.
- High price - It's expensive, but it's worth its price.

AnonD-76440, 19 Oct 2012Hi everyone! Please inform me that The screen protector is ... moreNo need for a screen protector if you are a little careful.
I had a note for 10 months and never got a mark on it.
The note 2 screen is gorilla glass 2 and is really tough.
Either way you should avoid putting the Note 2 in your pocket with keys, coins etc.

[deleted post]Optimus G has very Powerful processor and very good camera and phone design is also superb but still I won't buy it because it's LG. They are not good at software and won't provide updates quick and proper.

Mick, 19 Oct 2012It's good to hear all the positive things regards to note 2... moreYeah there are some Cons of Note II:
Frankly speaking there are not any practical disadvantages in this phone, though I faced some of the followings:-
If you install games in it, it can be really addicted to you.
Your PSP will be useless after this.
You can't give this to your one year old kid and let him play with it alone. lol
Your heart beat can rise when someone with small hands are handling this phone sindle handed.

akshay, 19 Oct 2012calling stylus in fancy way as S-Pen won't change the fact ... moreThis set is for those who wouldn't mind using two hands, so first of all accept that this is not a normal mobile phone on which a kid can press the numbers and make calls. Stylus of old times were nothing just a plastic stick and i think you had gone through the small features of this one like hovering effect and air views which are mostly used in internet surfing and viewing videos and managing galleries and editing documents. Easy clip with STYLUS is only available in this set, though one need a creative mind to use that. First buy this set use this set, then please comment about the features of it. Thousands features can be put in a mobile but they are useless if you don't utilise it or don't know how to utilise it
Yeah there is one most killer feature in this set which everybody can use, make calls.

AnonD-53316, 18 Oct 2012That's not just stylus buddy it's S Pen. and it had lots of... morecalling stylus in fancy way as S-Pen won't change the fact that it's still a stylus with some fancy features but practically useless.... people gave up resistive touch screen coz they fed up of stylus.... now this cool feature won't be able to fancy people for more than a month after purchasing the phone coz S-Pen fundamentally is still a stylus, hence forces second hand to be used for operating mobile. So calling this impractical thing as most killer feature of Note 2 is sheer nonsense.
