I dont worry about old sms.
In relation to contacts. All my contacts are on my gmail account so everytime I get a new phone they automatticaly come over. I use outlook a lot so brought a program called sync2 (about $30) which syncs contacts and calanders.

Korean version is much more improved and no other part is getting it, thats y korean people love samsung more than lg another korean company. Sgs3 sold 4million all over asia with a population of 3billion, but at korea a small country they sold 2.5million! Our version(india) of lte is not wide spread yet like china, google it! We are going to use td lte, its not wide spread yet. Also our operators launched data only services so far. Will take two or three years for many takers, 3g is even not implemented properly! U complain about hsdpa 21mbps, thats when i know u're troller not a forum's constructive user! Get a life, or go away.

I checked in Warri, Deleta State on 13/10/12, and the phone sellers did not even seem to know what I was talking about. They only knew of Galaxy S2, s3, Note and Note 10.1.

Addison, 10 Oct 2012guys , do you have any problem on your note 2 like this one... moreI never heard any phone come with a crack out of the box(before opening i mean), untill iphone5, where large nos of ip5 users complained about scuff marks out of the box. This is an one off case. Still samsung needs to improve cust service. I wonder how did he bought it without opening the box Suspicious case...

Usb host feature gives u option to add a mouse or controller to ur phone via usb host cable(bought seperately). Mhl adapter is available to connect to hdtv tvs and other devices. Dlna and many more present on this device. Check it out.

deepak, 10 Oct 2012 samsung service bad ignoring problems go for apple if hav... moreSpeaking of apple, its the same company which told people are holding it wrong(antenna gate), people are angling it wrong(purple haze on cam), aluminium tends to get scratches(scuff gate). People dont need screen more than 3.5"... So long deepak, samsung certainly lacks a bit in cust support especially in india but not as much as apple. For every broken part or defective battery beyond warranty or within warranty u have to be at apple service centre, paying exorbitant amount for servicing and buying the products and parts. Why dont u think apple opted for closed battery back? Everything is money for apple, they dont give what people want, they will make u a scape goat of their eco system, face time, i message, cant transfer files with bluetooth, u have depend on itunes for every thing on your iphone or ipad. I dont want a mediocre product with arguably good service, i opt for a good product with mediocre service. For ur trolling, theres ur lala land of ur own, ip5 forum. Go there be a zombie.

So our lte is not supported for a while! Also operators only launched data only service right now. Its gonna take couple of years to implement atleast 2014.

I didn't mean copying Apps to External SD Card.
When SGS-3 was launched Samsung was promoting an App / process where iPhone users moving to S-3 can transfer there Contacts & SMSes to S-3 easily.
There is a process of transferring / coping the iPhone Contacts thru the MS Outlook, which I don't know.
Though there is no way SMSes from old iPhone can be transferred to any Android, in this case Galaxy S-2 or Note-2. Both iOS & Android use different formats for SMSes hence cannot be shared.
Anybody having proper info on "Transferring iPhone Contacts & SMSes to Android Phone" kindly share the same.
