hi frds.... i m using note 2 from 1 yr, upto date my mobile was working fine, when i keep idle for 12hrs battery drains only 6 %, now when i keep for 4-5hrs idle its drains upto 70 % i dont know what wrong with it. i am using battery doctor. and many un-wanted in built app also i disabled... then to same problem if any one have solution plz help in this regards......

Just upgraded it to 4.4.2 and it is working flawless! Waiting for the next Lollipop update and hope that somebody can give me heads up for the pros and cons of the next update soon..

Lollipop can't be available yet as it's not on the Samsung firmwares site available for this phone. Impossible unless you have Dow loaded and installed a custom ROM

I have a problem with my note 2.i have change 3 memory card for last year because it keeps crash..device cannot detect when i slot in memory card..all data was gone..if u guys expirience same prob pls share..need a solution

If there is any store where the aluminum bezel back housing cover can be replaced with the metal bezel back housing cover for Samsung Galaxy Note 2. Please post it here. I would get that for my Samsung GAlaxy NOte 2.

I am patient which is why I am still using Samsung Galaxy Note 2. I agree that the display of this device is great. No matter how safe you want to keep the device, you will drop it somehow. It happend with my device as well. But let me tell you there is not a single scratch on the screen of my device.
I am still awaiting the Themes customization feature which may be included in the Lollipop update for our Samsung Galaxy Note 2!!!

I paid a lot of money for that device and I really wish it had a metal bezel. I am happy with the performance. I am sure updates will keep coming and it will improve the performance even more and also will have more features to use. I replaced the plastic back cover twice after it started loosing color and finally got a leather back cover. The leather back cover looks better. The color of bezel started coming out. I have already replaced the bezel once. Now You didn't pay for it. I did. The metal bezel could have given it a premium experience.
Why should one pay Rs38500 for plastic back cover which looses color and not so looking bulky aluminium bezel which again looses color or spen which again looses color. I just don't think it was ever the best device in the market for that price.

Hi everyone, this is the first time i am posting a comment. Been using this device since launch, till date haven't experienced any problem in terms of both hardware or software other than a couple of hiccups when i had to simply restart the device..not really a big deal.
The usage pattern was pretty heavy in the beginning being awed by its capacity to push to limits. After that its been under moderate usage.
All those complaining about its build and withstanding drops etc, i must say it could have also been affected by the usage since i have dropped it twice, literally slept on it all night.Dropped once face flat on the ground from my shirt pocket while standing and the other time slipped from my hands to the floor as i dozed off in bed. All i got was minor scratches on the screengurad and a lil scratch on the top. Bezel is doing just great with no hint of wearing off at any part.
As for certain users crying out loud not to update your phones to further updates being launched, kindly do update is what i suggest. I am on stock 4.4.2 and i prefer stock as from previous experiences. The updates are for enhancing the device, not degrade its performance and its based on R&D which is why they release the patches and stability updates a lil later which fixes the bugs, only if you are patient enough. There have been changes as we updated where certain options were removed but mostly new features and tweaks were introduced. Thus you are better off having updated with enhancement since you are still using the phone or you would not have.
Although I would second the opinion that with time its battery has dropped it performance, but still pulls off 1.5 days with moderate usage which is very normal for its age.
The camera so far has been one of the outstanding features if you can optimise it, photography is my hobby and people find hard to believe the phone takes such photos.
This phone as we know it, a monster, indeed lives upto its reputation as a powerhouse for making the most out of it.
