So thats y m decided to wait fr official Jb update in india as my phone is in warranty period m just bought in Jan 2013. So i think i have to wait its not too much. Samsung service centra executive said to me that Jb update will be released on 14-15march.

good news for indian note n700 users JB update hopefully will b rolling out on/after 10th march m waiting for it :).. adobe flash isnt wonkin on my note n700 having ics 4.0.4 is there any solution for dis??:(

If you're not aware of Rooting, why interested? Rooting will give you access to Super-user priviledges, meaning you can do modifications in the android system, which is restricted to normal users. You can install custom ROMs, CWM Recovery, Use apps that requires root access, etc.
Deletion of apps/data will depend upon the technique you'll be using. It's recommended to wipe all data.

This is the official firmware for Germany by Samsung. I'm not having any issues with it. Smart-Eye, Multi-Window, Air-View, etc. are some features which are worth upgrading manually.

sam, 05 Mar 2013hw did u upgrade to jb...is it officially released in india..I manually updated to Jelly Bean with Stock Jelly Bean ROM of Germany.

My phone's Baseband version is: N7000XXLSO
Battery life is almost the same like it was on ICS. People here are talking that they came back to ICS after experiencing problems with Jelly Bean firmware. So, I guess it is possible to downgrade to ICS, when required. Google it and you'll know how to downgrade. But, of course you'll have to use tools like ODIN.

Are you charging your phone via USB port of your computer? Have you tried using the original Samsung charger (1A current)?
Try a factory reset. If the problem remains, there's something wrong either with the battery or with your phone.
