Hi Guys in India!
I own a Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N7000 and was eagerly waiting for Jelly Bean update. But, I couldn't wait more and then decided to get manual Jelly Bean update. I downloaded the German firmware which on extraction is more than 1GB. Just remember to factory reset 2-3 times to get the software running smoothly. Everything seems to be working fine and no issues at the moment. It has got a lot of new stuff, which I'm sure everybody's gonna love it. So, stop waiting and start updating..

I use my for strictly media fun. Excellent picture quality, great audio output and overall performance. For watching videos; use MX Player from the Googleplay store, Its plays all kinds of video files with great results.
Just remember, it has some European apps. and links on it.
Last thing, check out HD Accessories for the cases because their nice and very inexpensive

You cant imagine - how unhappy a Customer like me. Right this very moment - I am not able to charge my phone because its same problem. Monday morning I am going back to Samsung - and guess what? They will probably tell me . . .sorry! We no longer can do it for free because I bought this unit in March 2012 and now is already March 2013. Paid quite a lot for it and felt cheated for getting such a problematic Note N7000!!!!!!

I bought Note N7000 since Mar 2013 - it sucks and I feel being ripped off. Had it sent back to Samsung more than 5 times.
First time - charger port - wont work in less than 1 month. They said they changed the conenctor port for charger.
Second time - screen was burning life New Year's Day firework. Flarring all over. Went to Samsung and they changed the LCD screen
Third time - same problem again - the charger conenctor port seemed to be made of some kind of flimsy material so soft that it keep failing and went ajar even after being changed less than 2 months
Fourth time - keeps hang up from time to time and even after I update the software, handphone is like pirahna - battery gets eaten up very quickly. Very irritating battery life. Went back to Samsung and they changed it and reformat everything saying soft ware problem.
5th time - same problem., battery cant charge. Again samsung said they changed it.
Oh my GOD - what a blunder. How come Samsung could put such a rotten Android into the market. 4 of my other friends also experienced same or similar probl;ems. But not as serious as mine. I wished Samsung would read this message and look into the problem. Seemed like I have been unlucky to have bought it through a Telco COmpany that seemed like reject stock.
I swear to GOD Never in my life have I experience such a phone since using mobile phone in 1991.
SUmsung Guys - I hope u are reading this message! Loud and Clear. First time when the screen burns up I requested them to exchange a new unit but your service centre said they cant. They can only change the LCD screen. I am totally dissappointed with your product

dude, i also updated my N7000 with the official germany rom that i got from samfirmware.com. Flashed it using Odin because OTA is still not available in my location. Been observing the unit for about 3 days, so far so good, no issues. Try Factory restore after the update. It might help.

had a terrible time with the jelly bean germany rom... Phone was so slow and battery drains completely in just 5-6 hours.... Im now back on ics... And waiting for a more stable release... Come on samsung.... Those of you eager for jelly bean, flashing the germany rom isnt worth with the battery drain n lag....

So your wait is just near to end as i had talked with samsung service centre agent he told me that Galaxy note Jelly bean update is arriving there on 15th march onwards. So frnds wait lil bit more as i am waiting too. we will get jb VERY SOON..

JB is not gonna be introduced in India. check sammobile website.there are focusing on selling Galaxy Grand with has JB. Bad luck note users
