AnonD-55950, 16 Jan 2013I know abt it n i have updated that once by flashing throug... moreIt IS NOT a custom rom. This is the official pre-release rom from Samsung.
I'm running this version on my Note1 and it's fuctions are without any flaws.
It has Project Butter, the S-pen works just fine as does the split-screen and pop-up video, etc.
I'm talking about the N7000XXLSA build.
As far as I can compare it's quite similair to my Note2 running 4.1.2. only a little slower though ;)

If all of you whining people would take the effort to read all of the comments, you would know there is a JellyBean 4.1.2 update which you can put on your NOTE1.
I've wrote about it a month ago together with the link where you can get the update and how to install it!!!
So please stop whining, read the comments and install JellyBean 4.1.2.
It works like a charm on the NOTE1, nearly the same as on the NOTE2.

Other units will boast of their higher res camera, another about how smooth the user interface that brand has, how brand X has such high frequency quad-core, and still another will boast about how much pixels and ppi it has. You will hear ignorant brand fans talk how bad the Note is compared to what they bought.
I am someone who appreciates innovation like what Samsung has combined an excellent mix of power, vivid image recording, vivid screen, useful stock utility apps like S Note, and the Note series is the only one that has a true active Wacom stylus system which I use often since the first Galaxy Note for sketching and working out architectural designs. No way anyone can convince me something else to spend on or swap with.
Heck, I'm never only an exclusive Samsung branded device user. I use an HTC Chacha for a secondary phone while commuting as a safety precaution. I have the street sense not to flash around the Note while walking alone at night. A Sony Smartwatch does the job of reflecting and answering messages, music control.

samsung really sucks.they are always updating s3 note 2 note 10.1 and rugby pro. Not even a word on note 1.they should jst let us knw if we the note one users woudnt receive the update.

vish, 14 Jan 2013inserted 32gb memory card in phone and phone gets hang a lo... morei use a SanDisk Ultra 32 GB MicroSDHC Class 10 phone works pretty fast .it maybe your microsd card is the problem. do you get this problem with any other cards?

Samsung mobile is good but the exicutives of compony is very lazy and hope less the selection of service centre is also very poor Ii gave my mobile to Shyam telecom authorisedservice centre of samsug at Raipur Chhatisgarh
they change my handset camera and give me back with llots of excuses like software and
and no exicutive is hear in chhatisgarh who resove this issue , only physical voilence is the last solution for me
Hp ,Nokia , exicutive is definately take action and terminate the service centre but I think this poor compony not enough guts and man power ( all are corrupted and involve in this all issues with the service centre ) its the major mistaken i have done to take 10 mobiles of samsung , you know the now the performance of my galaxy note camera is poor than that of my Samsung s plus 5megap

Since Last one month Samsung is displaying Jelly Bean for Note at http://www.samsung.com/global/microsite/galaxynote/note/benefit.html?type=find
But update is still not available. GSM Arena incorrectly states that OS is upgradable to Jelly Bean, on the specifications page.
