Try to Factory reset the device. If it does not help, rush to Samsung service center. I am sure they will help you.
Since i do not see any particular setting in this which allows only S-PEN recognition.

I absolutely ADORE mine. It is my baby. :P Have to say that the S Pen case is a MUST HAVE accessory if you're into drawing at all. It makes a much more effective Sketchbook than I expected.
Still waiting on Jellybean... But other than that Samsung did REALLY well with this one.

Anonymous, 25 Oct 2012i have it my hands right now, it is normal sim not mini sim... morereally not mini-sim? maybe you got in mind micro sim, because just "sim" is not in use for about..10 years or more. Most popullar is mini sim, others,like xperia s or iphone 4 uses micro sim.
