I received today update for N7000 its awesome it changed the interface a bit now its much faster the menu is divided between app and widgets,gallery changed and the popup video now u can zoom in and out ....thanks samsung for the update

i did as u said bt... moreSo many possibilities…. In my settings I do not run any power saving apps (even default & custom power saving modes), no antivirus apps. No any widget other than “3D Digital weather clock” and only 5 home screens. I recommend minimum possible home screens, better without widgets and place only necessary icons in home screens. This will help to fast your phone. If you select less than 4 background process and you open more apps (ie heavy multitasking) phone will lag little bit because it need to close one app to open other one. Shutdown your phone 2 minutes once in a week. It will clear your ram and that will help to increase the battery efficiency. Background process limit setting will cancelled when shutdown the phone and you need to set it again after switch on your phone.
Regarding video download apps I am not so familiar. I am using tTorrent for torrent downloading. Now uTorrent beta also available in play store (it got good comments & rating). For downloading videos from youtube I am using Tubemate. It will not get in play store, try search in Google for trusted source. I downloaded some music videos in full resolution (1920 x 1080) with Tubemate and found awesome in the 5.3” Note screen.

Ics 4.0.4 out in India, updated my note just now via ota, update is of 104 mb, update and enjoy pop up play and signature lock features, its awesome.

Hey !!! I am from India... And i just got to know from www.sammobile.com that 1 s/w update came for Galaxy Note today itself (N7000DDLR9).
So have anyone tried to upgrade to this new firmware version ??? If yes. does it have new UI changes n gallery changes from S3 & Note-2???

Hi everybody Can someone help me with this ??? . I unistalled Kies Air from my PC and Note , now when I try to download it again , it will not it says already installed and try another handset . Can somebody give a hint on how to solve this ?????? thank you

Had this phone for sometime now. So when I was planing a trip to USA check if the phone works there and it did. But when over there the battery went in notime and dont know why. So using it like I do in UK but get a day in UK luckly if I get 9 hours in USA
