Hey..how to update Note to ICS?? from GB..i downloaded the package data from phone throigh 'about phone'..but ot says 'failed to update frimware, update through Kies via pc or go to centre'..please tell me how to to update through Kies..i tries but couldnt understand wat to do..thanx in advance!

Khan, 05 Aug 2012I want to upgrade firmware of my galaxy note. any one can s... moreI updated to ICS 4.0.3 when ICS for note was released. It was horrible. The battery drains like hell although ui interdace was very smooth. I had to bring it to Samsung service center to downgrade it to GB. And everything was back to normal.
A week ago i tried to update to ICS 4.0.3 once more. I was worried. But now, my note is amazing. I can get up to 48hrs of battery life with ICS. The only downside is ui is not as smooth as the previous ICS upgrade.
My tips, fully charge your note before upgrading. And do it via Kies PC, not via air/wifi. Or you can go to Samsung service center to do it.

Jef, 06 Aug 2012Using for last 6 month. Now it started draining battery ver... moreI had the same experience. My tips, do not overcharge your phone. Unplug it once the battery is fully charged (usually takes about 3 hours).
I bought a new battery. With GB it can last for 24-26hrs. And now after updating to ICS 4.0.3 via Kies (from PC not from the phone) i can get up to 48hrs of battery life with modest phone use.

awesome phone with bull shit flaw of memory
even if u have 16 or 32 gb mem card after 3 to 4 gb filling it wd hang and wd restart again and again until u format memory.
that bullshit of gingerbread version
who will correct this bullshit i dont know how cum samsung playing with customers.
some very ugly and nasty stuff regarding memory
