Yes buddy...if you have mobile data connection...
go to settings->wireless and networks->tethering and portable hotspot (turn this on)
Now your Gnote willl act as router...you can use that network with other phones or laptops
using wifi....
Note: It will drain battery very fast. Use it only when needed.

kylie, 30 Jul 2012I just have 1 Question for undecided person like me... and ... moreS3 or Note...surely it is better S3 if you dont mind the price, but if you need more than just a phone and a camera, you better take a Note. it has S-Pen which is very much functional for taking notes and others.

This is awesome Its my Beast... Running very fast and smoother But I have a problem about battery life Which dries of like the wet clothes kept in Hot Sun nothing more problems Turned off all wireless networks kept brightness too low got a new battery but the problem not solved Used Juice Defender Ultimate but not solved my Problem what should I do now other than this this is awesome

[deleted post]Go to this website to download the official Samsung Software on your laptop or computer for your Samsung Galaxy Note N7000: http://www.samsung.com/uk/consumer/mobile-devices/galaxy-note/galaxy-note/GT-N7000RWAXEU-support. Look for Samsung Kies 2.0 wherein you will see download options for Windows or Mac. Choose the operating system you have on your laptop or computer to download and install it. After you installed it, click on Help at the top for "Check for Updates " to make sure you have the current update. After that, connect your Samsung Galaxy Note N7000 with it USB Cable to your laptop or computer which will first install the USB drives before Kies 2.0 recognized your Galaxy Note N7000. If your Samsung Galaxy Note N7000 is fake, it will not display on Samsung Kies and if it is the real one, it will display and pop up any current updates available for your Samsung Galaxy Note N7000. Click Update and Agree on it Terms and Conditions to proceed the update which will take between 30 to 45 minutes. Remember, most Samsung updates are only available on Kies only for their devices.

my note was running android 4.0.3 it is okay or safe to do factory data reset using
setting>back up and reset>factory data reset
because my samsung note have also the bug

pro tip: if you want fast charging, do not charge on your pc, use the original wall charger.

Please help .. after updating to Android 4.1 my battery is going down from 100% to 0% in just 6 hours, weather I use phone or not .. any remedy?

Hi guys, I've had my Galaxy Note for about 2 months now and I'm really not impressed. I went from an iPhone so naturally I'm comparing it. For example I had a nightmare of a time transferring music and creating playlists, Kies was a nightmare so I downloaded Twist app. The phone crashes and switches itself off on the odd occasion, today I went to Facebook and the camera opened! Texting and emailing takes me ages, it doesn't correct like the iPhone does. I find it difficult to use, but to be fair I don't think I've spent enough time getting to know it. Someone please help, as I am seriously considering selling it and paying off my contract :-(

For you who has black crush video problem in your Galaxy Note (as in link below), try to work around this by using the screen filter. Download 2x battery appl and run it. Go to setting/utilities/screen filter, select white color filter and adjust transparancy to 80%.
