ICS update for galaxy note is complete bullshit. please don't upgrade.
Battery sucks real time..... phone lags. ICS is not meant for note.

Unfortunately, there is no ICS update!! Should look at HTC Onex with ICS instead.

AnonD-46519, 26 Jun 2012Dude the browsing stats that you have put it's not possible... morei indicated browsing with "Opera Mini". the browser is said to be not consuming too much battery power because of its remote rendering.

Samsung has come with another stability ICS update.I have updated just now.almost all bugs are gone.My Note is superfast now.Go ahead update it and enjoy ICS juice.I'll check battery and update it stats soon

Hey guys. I want to change my os to DDLPA. Please some one answer me it is better than LP8 or LQ2/3? and it is good rom? and will it be good after root? because I want to root my phone. And all other things you know that is good for me to know? Tanks. (I am on ZSLPF now)

abey, 26 Jun 20121.Did you do any factory reset before/after ICS upgrade? 2... morei'm also using a dark wallpaper. the screen eats up a lot of battery considering it's big size. using dark or pre-dominantly black wallpaper turns off a lot of screen pixels and lessen battery consumption.

2... morei updated my GNote to ICS while it is relatively new, 5 days i used it on GB. the negative opinions about ICS upgrade quite scared me but when i read the offered improvements of ICS, i took the risk, and glad I did.
Settings - turning off Bluetooth and Wifi when not in use, Network mode is GSM only when i'm not using mobile-net, and constantly checking for open apps with task manager
i don't use power saving mode or power saving app because i want more flexibility and control on the settings.
and it seems like lion battery improves performance after a certain amount of discharges and recharges.
and i have only few apps installed. the ones i frequently use.

- browsing the web using Operan Mini thru wifi: 1% per 7 min.
- using S-Note and S-Memo: 1% per 4 min.
- watching video: 1% per 6 min
