Samsung Galaxy Note II launch supposedly set for this fall
The original Samsung Galaxy Note was a big hit for Samsung, selling some 7 million units since coming on the market late last year. Rumors abound that its next iteration will come this October, in anticipation of a fall release date for rival tech giant Apple's iPhone 5.
The Note II, if it will be called that, will supposedly feature a quad-core Exynos processor, 12 MP camera, and better battery life. The build quality will also allegedly be improved, thanks to a rumored unbreakable plane (UBP) display, a precursor to Samsung's flexible display technology.
It also could be larger than the 5.3 inches found on the current Galaxy Note, although that might be pushing it a bit too far into the tablet realm.
The final morsel we heard is that it will supposedly feature Google's new Android OS version, Jelly Bean, which is expected to be announced at Google I/O later this month. As always, take these rumors with a healthy grain of salt.

Hi Guys, today i recieved Approx 8 MB update for my Galaxy Note. After updating " Call dialer & Contact option" Missing in my phone... Only 3 Widgets coming, S-Memo,Messaging & Application... Separately I installed the dialer from market for dialing the no.but I am not able to add the contacts.
Pls. help if you know.

Hey guys i got an update thsi morning on my phone which was about 8 mb after downloading the software update the phone is not restarting any of u guys facing the same issue please let me know if yes whats the fix...

Guys !
Please dont update your firmware with that 7mb sucking thing. I was pleased to hear that it would improve stability. But after installing it's not working. While booting, it just stays at samsung logo and logo keeps blinking. I'm totally angry on whether what's this weird update all about. Gotta get this resolved at Samsung center :(

Can anyone please tell me that in GB how much batery lasts for note for some music played and online for 10 to 12 hours...? and which one is more better galaxy S3 or galaxy note...?

Couple of days ago I've updated my Galaxy Note (with Arabic language support)to the new ics. It is nice but started to hangup with some simple applications which causes a restart.
Can someone help?

alfy, 20 Jun 2012who has an idea of how long the battery life lasts for a sa... morewell mine drains about 35-40% battery when watching a 2hr video...music esp on the ear phones doesnt drain much...actually really less...say 5-10% for an hour...while on the speakers add another 10% approx.

I'm on ICS 4.0.3 since last 1 month, today morning i received a 7.8mb update to it saying it will improve stability, did any1 receive the same...??

i just updated my note last night and everything works fine. loving the ics coz it runs smoother and faster than ginger bread. haven't found any fault and hopefully there will be none. great job samsung and android!
