You can click the app and force stop it is is taking much power when you feel your Note getting hot for some reason. That's how I discovered that my Swype app was consuming power, eating away more than 50% of the overall battery usage. It has been occurring to me from occasions, and it never happen when I was in GB.
The temperature has been high than before whenever I connect to internet radio. There is a glitch somewhere.
Now that you have an extra battery, I advise you get a battery charger, so that you need not plug in your Note often. It will stay virtually wireless and the spare keeps your Note powered all day long and need not worry about power.

AnonD-9694, 31 May 2012U must immediately show it to customer care....i feel sorry... morei bought a new battery. The girl at the shop asked me if i had left my phone recharging overnight. I said yes, i had once or twice, and she said you must not do that again, even once except for first time charging.
So now i'm using a new battery. I really hope it will solve the problem. If not, then i'm out of ammo. And yes i will definitely visit the service center.
I love my note. S3 is still quite expensive and it don't support s-pen n s-apps

AnonD-10196, 31 May 2012I want to upgrade from Xperia arc, should I buy the Galaxy ... morewell i highly recommen galaxy note. It has massive screen, superb display, the s-pen. Battery life is also great. But watch it, after i upgraded to ics, battery life becomes pain in my a** =p

Happy to upgrade the Phone with ICS..but the battery back u is disastrous...My note's stamina reduced by 50% after the upgrade n hate samsung for bringing the glitchy upgrade...Hope to see a get well plan for the battery from Samsung........

praveen, 30 May 2012i love my note before 4.0 update but now i hate due to this... morePerhaps you should look into rooting your phone, and putting a custom ROM. You should start at the xda forums.

TheNeighbor, 30 May 2012And what do you do if a one of ether default apps like Swyp... moreyes we need to get this off...some apps really make so much mess in my note....like if install brilliant quotes or chess...my notes screen automatically turns on and off after every 8hrs(at night)....like someone wants to operate it(no ghosts for sure).....so after uninstalling i got my note in normal state.....so now i generally install 2 to 3 apps and observe if any negative signs r there....i used to have 208 apps ....so it bcame a mess and i have to reset....so i suggest to install BEST TOP APPS only(best 20 apps)in market list,...and i agrreee to you there should be an update for such minor glitches

finally... i upgrade my note... and... wauu.. its ice cream sandwich.... nice... with html5.browser.. finally.. xat.com on my note.. upgrade over the air... nice one...

Today I went to Samsung center..i told them my situation..the ppl told me that is no connection v the new software that I update..what the hell...end up thy changed me the battery..now I trying my new battery..hope it's work well..

Even on a blank screen i get message "No room to add widget"

AnonD-1094, 31 May 2012cant update to ics bcause the so called kies software is no... moreDeep --> same happened with me...I uninstalled Kies....restarted my system,.... re-installed Kies from Samsung website....updated it... and then connected my Note...and yes it started recognizing my Note...

cant update to ics bcause the so called kies software is not able to connect my note ,always says connecting and then nothing ,so horrendous kies is ,samsung thats a shame ,look at apple the minute u connect to itunes ur device is visible ,learn something from them
