Galaxy note is worse product!!
After buying it at 31st dec 2011 i have faced many problem during my 4 month use, the first problem i faced that its big screen was getting pinkish and reddish many times in a hour and it usually persist for more than 10 min and this problem continued to grow within 10 days of buying i have to visit service center and that guys at service center took more than 10 days to repair it, it's really very annoying after spending 34k rupees
After getting repaired, just after 25 days my mobile stopped charging, it again took one week to get repaire
After 23 days its brightness sensor and proximity sensor stopped working..again a waste of 5 days.
The gingerbread usually hangs manytimes in a day and its battery backup is worse in this category of mobile
Many times its camera does not take clear picture..you have to take picture many times if you want to see clear picture, then you have to do exercise with its camera
Samsung has promised officially that they will provide ICS update for it in first quarter of 2011, but there is no sign of update till now, when i contacted samsung service center guys that guys told me he is not in position to tell me anything about ics update, when it will come?, it will come or not?
What a third class customer service of samsung, they really cheat their customer?
If you willing to buy any high end mobile of samsung, i will advise you never buy such mobile from samsung
Buy from another one like apple, htc
Atleast their customer service is far better than samsung
I still regret on my decision that i have decided to buy galaxy note in stead of apple iphone 4s,

Hello SGN Fans,
Great news is that ICS update is on through KIES and not through AIR as of now.
I have tired to connect my SGN via USB to KIES desktop software after enabling USB debugging. Still it says, "Current connection mode not supported by KIES. Check USB settings."
Please help me how to get my SGN get connected to KIES via USB.

To Come out of that MTP mode and see those 2 removable drives do the following .
1. Go to Settings -> Applications -> Development -> Enable USB DEBUGGING .
2. Now connect your phone to your PC .
3. Drag your notification panel and enable the connect to PC.
4. When this option is ENABLED , your phones Internal memory and SD card will be displayed as external removable hard disk and you wont be able to connect to KIES (NOT KIES AIR).
5. When this options is DISABLED , your phone will be able to connect ONLY 2 KIES and memory wont be detected as external removable hard disks .

I am trying use s-pen on polaris document(word). It is not possible for me to select text for cutting deleting etc. What am I missing? I am seeing the cut symbol- but not highlighted- obviously because I have not selected text-- but how to do that?

AnonD-49695, 19 May 2012hi mango thanku 4 ur reply. but when i conect usb to pc no... moreDude, it was said clearly, Open settings->Wireless Settings and network->USB Utilities-> here press "Connect USB to PC" first, then attach the cable to system...after few seconds, it will ask again whether to connect to PC or NOT...then press conirm...now you will see both System memory and External SD Card (memory card)
