You can't get it on the play store, but it is available as a free download in Samsung Apps (atleast it's free in India, not sure about the cost, or availability of Samsung Apps in other countries).

Anyway, you be better off with just a portable power battery & an original Samsung battery charger for the Note's battery. I see this being more practical than being under the sunlight to charge, a you just charge the portable battery overnight. You would need to also get an extra battery, of course.

One of the best smart phones ever in the market,
Since i am using the phone from last one month,
I feel proud to be the owner of the galaxy note.
Osum battery life with the dynamic screen quality,
its great technology,
But very egarely waiting for icecream sandwich update for Galaxy Note

whatever i observe, you are misunderstanding the solar panel app. For god sake its not a application. its solar panel appliance. its a mini hardware device which you can add ass a gadget for your mobile phone. here in middle east, we people use it in our car, in office, in home to keep our mobile charge when in idle mode. You people might not have that device. plz check around you in market and must buy this gadget for your Galaxy note.
I am too laughing that still you people think that any software can charge the phone??? Oh my god....its just a funny application. dont mix application with appliance both are different.

So it is actually 1GB RAM not 800MB

I already ordered this phone, should be receiving it in about a week or so. I did a lot of research because i own Blackberry, and i started to HATE everything that Blackberry is. I hate Iphone as well (too over priced and way over rated). one day i saw the TV ad for SGN. "click". i wanted it. after reading reviews, watching youtube videos, and researching, i just realized that is the best Smartphone right now out there. so i just can't wait to have mine. ICS is a must, so i'll update it as soon as it is available. i love everything of this phone. i can see the others companies attempts to copy it coming.

I bought Samsung phone in Dec. 2011 but the headset became faulty 2 days ago. I rushed from Macau to Hong Kong Samsung Service Center and was surprised by the number of waiting customers. Many had to stand up as there were only about 12 seats.
The service lady told me that the warranty for the headset was for 3 months only so my headset couldn’t be repaired or replaced. I do not think it is fair to us but its seems that we have no alternative but to avoid Samsung products. I would mention that the Samsung Kies remains one of the worst phone softwares despite of so many changes in versions.
