I previously had Galaxy I9000 for 1 year, and still use it, its one of the best phone from my experience and much better then iphone, When Galaxy S2 and Note came I was too eger to buy them.
Finally bought Note, also had latest official firmware on it, its has better display and camera, but I am annoyed by it some issues on it.
1. I heats up very quickly, its all about power managment and effectively using power managment.
2. Gallary often cause livelock, CPU usage consistantly at 40 %, I reboot other wise the phone batter may drain.
Scroll photos >> often zoom in and out using double click on screen.

After latest update download from Samsung (receive notification via push msg),my app lock application is not working. uninstall & re-install again also does not lock app that was set to lock. other friend (Note as well) who also update the latest software also face the same prob (for Apps Lock application from Market). Try another app lock also the same result,not able to lock application set. What is goin on?

its ultimate phone i have ever used.. once u get used to this phone, u find the other cell phones as "shit" . the internet is awesome. this phone is not for those who just want to make and receive calls.. it does a lot more. typing is very good. wifi is excellent as well as google applications run too smoothly on this cell. Even u need to be smart to use a smart phone. the brightness should be kept to auto mode and gps should be turned on as and when required.

I had brought black color. Phone is awesome and great.
Just Battery is the little bit issue, but can't ignore this much good phone just for a battery.
@goru Yes of course you can use skype.
@abey Yes class 4 memory card is working good. I have 16 gb internal memory and 16gb sandisk class4 memorycard.
everything is working graet.

went to shop for purchasing a basic handset, after seeing the large display, camera quality, HD video & good CPU speed decided with samasung galaxy note.A device fully loaded with all the features which are needed..

mitch, 27 Mar 2012im totally confused...what to buy? samsung note or htc sens... moredon't buy the boath.. the.best mobile u can buy is s2. because the note doesn't support moast of the gameloft games.. then xl doesnt have the external sd slot only internal 16 gb.. ! then another by seeing the brower test and display quality u can find that xl is dead.. so I requested to buy s2 the best way. then ur wish r buy the moto bionic or x

Remeber slower cards will create lag time on bigger pictures and files.
