im currently using iphone4s right now and im planning to buy this galaxy note..would you think it will be a good decision.. apple products are good but not for student like me.. i think this galaxy note will be very useful to me.

You can go further by charging spent batteries in your bag with the desktop charger powered by a portable power bank. My setup can get me going for 2 days+ with heavy use of my Note.

I've had my Note for 5 days now and LOVE IT! Will never go back to iPhone. I gave my iP4 to my grandchildren to play games on.
IMHO to go from Apple to Android does take some learning and trying to forget old habits. I use to have to take my phone and laptop with me everywhere I went but now my laptop is regulated to spend it's days now on my desk.
I just got back from a trip to San fransisco and my Note performed flawlessly.
I, along with almost everyone else, do not like the short life of a charge. I have now gotten myself 3 chargers Which r located in different spots to keep the battery charged.
The one thing I am waiting for is ATT to flip the switch here where I live to turn on 4G.
So bottom line, get some chargers, mayb an extra battery, dump ur Apple, and enjoy ur new Galaxy note.

Bought this stuff three weeks back. got excited but my excitement started fading. Earlier, I was using HTC wildfire. Somethings I experienced bad using it;
1. Automatic location update; do not update location automatically when moving from one place to another. HTC wildfire used to do it.
2. cannot access the phone/sd card; while connecting to my laptop through data cable. HTC wildfire is accessible.
3. poor network connectivity; while travelling by air I had set the phone on "Flight mode" and upon landing I switched on to the normal mode. However, it took unusually long time to connect to the network even after switching off and restarting.

The heating is normal because your using it. U iphone lover don't post here. Ur buying an expensive phone with a low specs. They just rubbing you....wake up!

2 mp camera 4 this s2 felt a bad impression on this......
it would be non-impressive as compared to this cost of this phone...................
size:- samsung should make it less dimensions,,, and the plastic content was low qolity and back side and camera area pay'''s no extra loook''s 4 this................

symbian6600, 08 Mar 2012Hi, is that firmware 2.3.6 XXLA6 you mentioned available fo... moreyou wn't brick your phone, i was nervous too before upgrading but i had no problems, i dont know if ita available in malaysia but with odin is simple and it won't root your phone, you can't brick your phone, if anything works bad you can flash another official firmware and you will still have warranty, this firmware xxla6 is an ofiicial firmware .

I got a New Galaxy note from sangeetha mobiles.
2nd day it had over heating problem and hanging Started Imagine .... The 2nd day .. Urghhh.... Hardly any Application Installed .. They took 5 days and still am waiting for it .. My friend also has got a different issue with it and
Sangeetha banjara hills, Hyderabad .. Just dont buy from there .. waste of money as no proper service
Apple Still remains the best ....

bought my note, just 2 dayz back. M facing a problem wid sound quality with with earphones, its really really bad, its even worse then any local china mobile. my wave S8500 was far far far better when it comes to audio quality. Do help me guyz, is there any setting in music player?? or something is wrong with my note??? tried setting custom equalizers, but of no use :(

Make sure before getting Note. Get made in Korea by Samsung cause 'made in china by samsung' have over bright screen.. stylus have light color button instead of dark grey & battery finished in china not Korea.

I bought this on the month of November 2011 and till date its superb . The only I hate in this is 800MB RAM which was 837 MB RAM in case Galaxy S II. Other than that its amazing. I had used Galaxy S and SII and now Note . The best part is its High end resolution and with larger screen with such a sleekness. Moreover after Galaxy S its Note where you can install and use Google Earth other than Google Maps. In case , S II Over the Air (OTA) updates was not working but with Note its amazing. If are using 3G then this is the best android device on the market with large display and great resolution. No IPhone no other can compete with this. Sound quality which was disastrous with SII had been revived with this Note both BT Headset and original ear piece works awesome. Video clarity is also superb. Pocket size doesnt matter at all. It fits into normal pockets very easily no matter what you are wearing either Denim or Normal one. Even Shirt pockets it fits perfect.
Conclusion once you use Galaxy Note you will never go for S II or Other device again. Make sure you use it proper way with all the options.
