Hi friends,
The specs page on gsmarena says it has a barometer as well. I checked the manual. there is nothing like barometer. Does anyone know how to use it, if it has one?

can anyone please let me know how many lines can you jot down in s memo at a time?
one of the reviews mentioned that you cannot write more then 2 or 3 lines in one memo.
Can galaxy note be used as an alternative for diary? pls reply as i intend to buy one soon.

I have the Galaxy Note so I can confirm from

Guys no doubt the performance of the Note is mindblowing ..... I am using S2 and note ...and both have thr positives...
I dont think that both can replace each other .
Both belong to separate segments...
I have a Single POINT TO clear ...
Pls HELP .....
I have used 2 Screen Guards but None worked ...(ADPO & AMZER)
after applying the screen guard .....
When i Use the S-PEN it scratches the screen guard and after half an hour it becomes totally unusable ..All scratched...

hi all. i am planning to buy Galaxy Note, but there is one thing bothering me & its the steardiness of this phone. i am presently using nokia 6630 & have been using this phone for the past 6 & half year & in that time it has been dropped badly several times & has been shattered into peices but as soon as i pack it up it starts working fine. i am worried if this galaxy note will be strong enough to hold some shocks or its gone if its dropped once. though i am not considering Note to be as strong as a nokia phone but this questions is still impacting my decision to buy this phone.
please help.

AnonD-29527, 30 Nov 2011battery life will always be a problem to a smartphone nowad... moreto all those guys distressed by fast battery discharge of galaxy note or any other mobile, let me tell u its natural for all smart phones. try using juice defender application, play with its setting to find what best suits u, it will surely help improving battery life.

Amazing phone.
Battery backup is ok, but not as expected.
Ultimate Gaming experience and video carity.
cam quality is good.
Little bit heating issue while paying HD games.

For everyone with not so good battery perfomance: install 2.3.6 update, among other things it gives Note battery a huge improvement, after the update battery is at 40% at the end of the day with heavy use of 3G, Wifi, music, browsing... With 2.3.5 the same use ends with 11% battery, it's day and night. Also, if you do a lot of web browsing (btw, a pleasure to browse the net with the Note) enable some of the Energy saving presets, they are in Brightness and Color settings. Have fun with the Note, this is one of the most incredible pieces of tech you can buy today.

Those who have issue with battery, go and download JuiceDefender from Android Market. If you want to have a change of your screen layout, you can try to installed GO Launcher EX to apply different theme on your Note. There is also 1 application called Remote control for earphone which you can play music remotely with your earphone.

Hi guys,
Just bought this awesome device last week, here's my full review:
1) HARDWARE:
- Big display is an advantage for me, very easy to browse.
- For those complaining too big for the pocket, this is made to call, send text, internet, etc, why always put it in the pocket?
- This is like a mini laptop with 3G, wifi, with calling capability or like a mini tablet that you can easily bring anywhere.
SOFTWARE:
- Very fast CPU, browsing, and using the applications are responsive.
- Probably the only drawback is the RAM, i always clean the memory to avoid the delay in response especially if you have so many apps running.
- Default apps is not as good as iphone4, but you can always download in the market for good apps.

Awsm phone .... no no awsm tablet...ok AWSM Phablet!!!
I recently bought this device and loved it.
Screen Quality is amazing..Camera quality is good and there is the size of widgets is cool very easy to use browser etc. No need for me to buy a tablet now.
Only interesting point is the size of the tablet which I find a little bit big but I think I will be able to manage that. Its a BIIIIIIIIIGGGGGGGGG PHONE...loved it.
People not liking it will only not like it due to its size otherwise it too a too good device.

Rs- 31,400 only,i paid for galaxy note in Bhubaneswar,Odisha.
Smartest smart phone in my review.
I was usin Nokia n8 yestermonths.But i found note is smarter than n8.

Galaxy Note seems to be an impressive phone.Though, I'm convinced that the phone is meant to be used by both hands.
Have some queries before I decide to purchase this
1. How is the usability of the apps downloaded from android market? Any issues because of its large display?
2. Will their be an update available for ICS?

Got to play around with it yesterday
1) S pen - Wow ... why cant all smart phones have it???
2) Size - bit too big for me .... 5.8 or 5 will be good
3) Android verison 2 --- :(
4) No Dual SIM :(
