its screen works with anything...and its pen is only a show off...with ur nails and with any other pen also u can operate the screen...u can operate the screen with the pen of nokia 5233...wtf...

It is good , better then iphone and blacbarry latest models . But i want to know hot copy contect , how to keep or syc contects . Contects are very important but i find fron NOTE i can not keep contect store for backup .
Another thing , how to open a new file of xl or word ?

My s2 plays abt 50% numbers of gamelotf hd ONLY , I think by hard ware conflick, the hw is extremely new vs app

I own a S2, satisfy with it. But I much more love the Note when I touch and try it.
Hd scr is soooooo perfect! Color tone is very accurate and warmer than S2which own SA scr but lower res.
The pen with nice functions, back, forward,scr shot.....just a click.
I think I go for Note or S2 HD ver.

congrats to SAMSUNG for setting the new standards.
being a student i will be vital for taking my class notes and for presentation.
one thing for real that worries me is the OS, couldn't they have fitted an ICECREAMSANDWITCH on it rather than a GINGERBREAD?
the design also would have been better if the plastic back cover would have been replaced by an aluminium one.
lastly, in ur review while unboxing i didn't see u mention abt the leather casing. SONY ERICSSON ARC comes with one and hence every smartphone should also come with one.
lastly, is this phone available anywhere in NAIROBI?

thanks sammy finally you reached the point of excellence i am one of yourold die hard customers who got pissed off for the lack of concern and lack of updates for my 8910, witched to NOKIA great phones got both e 7 and N8 the lack of sd hot swap on the e 7 turned me off so was the lack of battery removal specially when my phone froze up. now gott he note workd can only describe it as marvelous battery quick to9 change the Sammy dealer gave me extra batt then picked up spare chinese copy of 2600 mah now i'm all set till you come up with note 2 with improvements like mapping and perhaps 3000 mah battery good work sammy thanks

Now i am going to change it into Note or S2.

Very nice phone....i was an Apple Lover....i tried the Galaxy S, Galaxy SII but they were not so good as compared to Apple iPhone4...but since last 3 days i bought this phone...its really a good phone Samsung has made till now...Battery Sounds Good better than Galaxy SII and even iPhone4S....iPhone4S has poor Battery complains since its launch....but this phone sounds to be a pretty tough one for its competitors in todays market....worth buying it....:)

Wow I'm impressed!
I am already using the Galaxy S2 when i bought the Galaxy Note. Wow the experience is so marvelous!
There's no log when typing (which i experienced on S2) either for twitter, text, etc.
Screen resolution is so fantastic!
Though i know it's huge but what the heck it doesn't matter coz it's all worth it!
Hope the "screen protector" is out in the market.. especially here in the Philippines!!

[deleted post]Keep your crap with yourself. This is better than iphone, which is scared of losing share and is running out of ideas. Is iphone going the Nokia way? What new useful feature is iphone 4s offering, and at such a hefty price??? i dont need an iphone nor an ipad when I have the Note.

Fabulous. When I am on the first photo in the gallery and I swipe on the screen to go back there is a bluish bleeding that appears on the side of the screen from which the swipe is being done. This also happens while swiping up after having reached the bottom of the screen in emails. Can anyone help me understand why this happens? Thanks

bought it a week earlier and i felt some features are better in s2 but galaxy note looks stylish than s2...its pen differentiate it a lot...however i will say s2 is better...one more important thing battery life is excellent and double as compared to s2...but than also s2 and note cant be compared...s2 is best at its own place and note is perfect at its own...
