Have my Note for a week now, smooth sailing. Absolutely impressed. Used it at work, media projects, and just for fun playing games etc and it's excellent! You can't go wrong. Take note, that in South Africa it doesn't have a Gig ram but only 800 rams (sucks, although I haven't had bad experience).

Has anyone who owns this noticed any lag when scrolling home pages on web browsing, also on pinch to zoom. I really want to get this phone but that would be a deal breaker for me ?

Smaller and with typical ear phone spec. Cable or bluetooth earset is so hard to use while answering immediately. N its really hard to use both phone and tab on the go, also charging issues drive me mad. I didnt use both generally, mostly the tablet with me. So this exactly the phone I needed.

Hi,
Guys I bought Samsung Galaxy Note last sunday 08/11/11 £629.95 sim free from CPW and fell in love with it thdmoment it fully charged for first time.
Display.
absolutley gorgious very clear sharp brilliant colours.
Functionality.
as you expect from any great Android phone or tablet regardless.
Camera.
HD video recording is incredible 1080p very smooth n sharp images colours are great too front camera is amazingly clear images were exceptional back still cam is fine too.
Spen works great.( howeverthdzpen app did t work kept getting app stopped working message each time i tried it but besides that it works great.
Games.
Some of the gamss i love the most didnt work at all Minigore NFS shift assasins creed dungeon hunter spiderman mayham HD several others. Samurai vengeance asphalt 6 hd gorilla bob work fine.
onscreen keypad isnt impressive but you get third part ones but i didnt try.
Most of android apps work fine.
sound quality is not the best but not even bad.
Battery.
Lasted all day easily with a good usage on wifi but takes a little longer to charge my Dell streak charges quicker
However my Note was faulty it had network signal issues it lost network repeatedly amd ddnt register on network itself had to switch off many a times missed calls some mates told me my phone was off couldnt send or recieve text msgs fault was interminent but kep reoccuring so I returned it and got full refund but rest assured guys once I have established that fault was on on my device only and its not manufacturer fault I will buy it again.
I love Samsung Galaxy Note. It rocks.
