U must be having bulk data from gingerbread era! U better reset the phone plus format ur internal 16GB storage. (backup all your information, contacts, photos, etc) Then format the internal storage. Then reset the phone. It should do the trick.
Im using the Note with JB 4.1.2 Sri Lanka version (derived from Indian virsion) and have no problem at all.

Need help,
am using Note from 6 months now and when I purchased it was with ginger bread, first few days were great but then ICS was already launched and I moved to ICS; performance improved slightly but could not recollect changes made in other specs.
I then started waiting for JB anxiously as all other phones (majorly S3s) arounf moved to JB successfully. I was super happy after receiving JB and to my pleasant surprise it has arrived with additional RAM space (810 to 863 MB) fancy screen and settings and much improved touch viz, what i latrer came to know was performance is reduced to 50%, same games which were running super smooth now gets freeze for few seconds and it keeps happening throughout. all buttons respond really slow and it takes time to open whats app, messages, media files, contacts etc. it was never like to.
do share if you facing this same problem, if any one has resolved it, plz let others know.
my other friends owning Note also complained about reduced performance.

finally updated to JB but there still is the driver installation problem. i just hope this isnt the phone's problem. will the use of a sony ericsson microUSB cord be the problem? i have lost the original cord for my note.

I have a Samsung Note GT-N7000 and I had it updated (by a Samsung rep) to the latest version about a month ago. Unfortunately about 2 weeks ago it started to switch off on its own and when I switch it back on it shows that the battery has only 1% even when it's full, other times 17%, etc. and it goes off right after again. Please assist me as to what can I do to have it fully functional again, I never had a problem with it before.
