Just received jelly bean 4.1.2 had it for one day and i can say that it feels like a different phone! i love the split screens! i use it alot, whatching my local tv online in a floating windows or in a split screen is just awesome! is faster! they fixed the battery drain (in the past i had to use nova launcher to get decent battery time)better keyboard, the fixed little things and added soo much stuff! the pencil tranking or what ever is called feels so much more soft and note 2 like :p

smooth performance
less battery drainage
better net speed
no lag, new keyboard layout is easy to operate now

I noticed that the back button and menu button on my N7000 stopped responding today. I've tried factory rest but the problem still pert sit. Please, what can be done? Thanks

insanejojo, 27 Apr 2013i have flashed the latest germany rom april 2013... xxlt4..... moreif there is battery improvment in new germany jb rom compare to indian jb rom, then im going to install this rom..
so tell me diff b/w indian jb rom and new germany jb rom?
and tell me if there is any prob in this new rom...if so then im not going to change my rom..

Where in the world do you get the update at? I don't want to root my phone or anything like that, i want it to stay exactly as it came out of the box except for this nice update!

hi frnds i need help. i tried to flash my note wth german rom xxlt4 through odin.whn i connectd not it says added.thn i select pda n ad .md5 file.whn i clik strt. aftr sum time it stucks at setup connection. aftr sumtim it says fail.what is it frnds? right nw i m on insian stock rom.i uninstaled drivers n install again bt nt wrking.ny1 hlp me.

What I co... moreyes dany i have noticed the issue... but it actually works... all you need to do is... when swiping right to call, do not swipe over the contact image, start slightly towards the right of the contact image... and it works... :)

Mio, 25 Apr 2013If the phone is still under warranty go to any samsung cust... moreI Went to Sm mega to Consult Such Incident. I was allowed To Update for free inside The samsung Service center but then, the Same Prompt (Unsuccessful Driver installation) appeared. Thus OS update failed.
On another Store, a thousand bucks was charged For foreign Phones which I guess Wasnt Fair.
I Think Ill be heading To GH one Of these days, and find A more Practical Deal.

I Remember one Incident Of restoring factory Settings about 2Months Ago Which I think affected The Driver installation. (Assumption)
I Just Dont know What to do Anymore.
Am So Scared of flashing thus not Doing It.
Aside from the OTA update, will Thee Be any Means of updating without PC?
Or is there anyone on The Room Who Knows how to flash Without Pc?

What I could experience is only the smoothness no lagging issue at all. But compare to battery life with the old Germany rom there is no changes for me. Also smart dialing “dragging left to right to call” is not working with this update. Can you check and let me know the smart dialing is working or not please insanejojo.
