Black clipping issues on the note makes me real disappointed with this phone. Why is samsung still keeping quiet about this with no fix? Not even to mention if it is a software or hardware problem. Didn't they came out with a prototype model and test it out before releasing the real thing? Are they too focused on beating Apple? But with this kind of rubbish, Samsung will never beat Apple. Focus on flaws, then focus on competition.

Wipe Data/Cache/Dalvik (IMPORTANT)
Mounts Storage and Format System, Format Data AND Format PreLoad (IMPORTANT)
Flash Sweet ROM V6
Wait until it says Reboot then Reboot phone. First install will take some time as it is building cache

ive had this phone for about 6 7 months now and the problems have just started to occur. the first one i noticed was that on my camera all the icons are upside including the camera button, another issue is that sometimes when on screen lock it doesnt tuen and when its not it does i have to reboot it to go back to normal and apparently there i not update for my phone

Just upgradeb to jelly bean version.a lot smooth &better battery drains and much stable than be4 .multi window and new ui is user friendly too.

Anybody who has problems upgrading to JB, just use ODIN to flash JB to your mobile, Any country version will do. just download the firmware from samsung-updates.com or samfirmware.com. Take note these are official roms and will not void your warranty if something else goes wrong. just use this step if you are unsuccessful upgrading from KIES. Just search the forums for instructions on installation via ODIN. Now i'm enjoying JB 4.1.2 on my N7000. Cheers!!!

hi guys!!!
My cousin owns this phone, it is still using ICS, when he tries to do a software update error: software update not successful please try it with kies or visit a nearest Samsung service centre.
My cousin tried doing it again and again, nothing happened. He went to the Samsung service centre they said JB not available for this phone as of now. but many people here had updated their phone.
Can someone help him please,, please leave a reply or a comment where he can update his phone to JB

hi, m using window vista and downloaded kies. all run well except when i click on the software upgrade for my n7000, there is the popup but its plain mean just the frame without any wording. any one facing the same problem? i have check my internet setting and have uncheck the popup blocker. or is it anything to do with javascript or stuff like that.
need advise urgently. thanks in advance. me from malaysia.
