Well, my general opinion about Samsung will always be generic..They are one of the best companies in the world and deliver the best of products, all the Chinese and Japanese company items are just for some few years or months, Samsung will remain the same leader in all trends.Go for Samsung

papu, 31 Oct 2016i am also confused which device bye on7 pro,j5 1016 and not... moreAll the 3 devices are very different. Redmi 3 is higher on specs and heating issues. J5 (2016) is mid range device, I try to get it, But it was sold out. Anyway I bought On 7 Pro which is a better choice in 10K, it is not an powerful multimedia device, but a true productivity tool with the trust of Samsung. Also loaded it with some great Samsung apps like Focus, Note, Music and Video.
Personally saying if I have not bought On 7 pro, than I would have bought either On 8 Pro with more RAM and ROM or On NXT which is metal build and fingerprint sensors like A5 Which my father uses.
Anyway you can choose upon your usage and future requirement.

Anonymous, 31 Oct 2016whether it is made in china?Don't think so. Samsung does not make any smartphones in india I think. And the devices mad in india has some quality issues. You can read the user review of Redmi 3S and Micromax devices.

Redmi Note 3 has a higher specs, metal build and non removable battery. It is known for high end processing for gaming. But also for high heating issue. As for On 7 Pro, it has medium specs, removable battery with 3 proper slots. It is aimed as a productive device rather than a heavy multimedia device. Also On 7 pro comes with some very good productive features and apps. Add to that if you install S Focus, S Note, S music and S video on it, it can be a good overall device for hard working and light multimedia. So, you should decide what you want for yourself.
