why not samsung release nougat update on7 pro.it has 2gb ram but not release or any news about update.im not satisfied with mashmellow os.its old now.huawei y7 better than this, if release os update this,i think this mobile value for money.

Never faced any heating and freezing/hanging issue. I bought it at around 10000/- to replace the the old Lumia 540. I choose it because Snapdragon 410 is good enough to handle day to day tasks. It runs every app I need to manage my life. Second good feature is the proper 3 slots and removable battery. As for screen it is good for the price , but comparing it to IPS or new display is unfair. I watched a lot of HD videos on it which is good experience.
As for UI, if you don't like it the default launcher, than try third party launchers like Nova, Microsoft etc. I use Google Now which is basic but productive.
And last but not least, it will get Nouget in few days. I am waiting for it. Initially I was not expecting it, but I am happy to see that Samsung has not forgetton this model.
Anyway if you use this device for few days; you will start to like it. At 7500/- you get a good value for money. Regards.

Rohit, 19 Jan 2018Bro how we can do tha factory reset of power usageI think you should empty the battery to 0% first and than do a 100% charge using the original Samsung charger. I am sure it will reset the battery charge.

THE GOOD PHONE UNDER Rs.8000. I got it for Rs.7500 on Samsung estore.
Selfie cam is bad compared to On5 pro. UI is crap. I must have gone to K7i with almost same specs apart fron huge screen. K7i has IPS LCD whereas On7 pro has TFT LCD which is decades old technology.

Forget about Nougat. It wont update because I have on5 pro and today bought on7 pro. only update I got is 78MB update. On "on5 pro" I got Nougat because it has Exynos chipset. On7 pro has SD410. I have LG K10 with same chipset it was too not updated yet. only SD435 is updatable to 7.0 .

Galaxy on5 pro now receiving Nougat 7.1.1 update.
Size is 978.2 mb
with Samsung Experience version 8.5
So Galaxy on7 pro users will also get the Nougat update Soon.
