on8 & j7 prime phone not for high end gaming due to mali 830mp2 issue on 1080p fhd resolution. mali 830mp2 full support only 720p resoution display hence j7 2016 play all high end game smoothly

They are never going to put fast charging and fingerprint sensor together in any on series or j series any time sooner becoz tht is going affect the sale of their a series so without these two features these phones are not worth purchasing in that cost segment

For all those deciding between J7 prime and this phone please note that the J7 Prime is using newer chipset but same clock speed. So performance will be similar but J7 Prime should have slightly better battery life. The GPU on the ON8 is the Mali T720 MP2 while the J7 prime uses a newer Mali T830 MP2 which should mean slightly better performance in high end games. The ON8 does lag in very high quality games like Nova 3 but runs lesser games like Temple run 2 or Real racing 3 just fine.
J7 prime also has fingerprint scanner and I believe (but not certain) a compass sensor which the ON8 lacks. Thankfully both phones have dual SIM cards AND a memory card slot. No hybrid slot BS.
Both phones have removable batteries and just 10 GB of internal memory usable.
The main USP of the ON8 other than the price which is around 3k cheaper is the display. The J7 has a standard 1080 LCD display while the ON8 has OLED display where the screen is capable of shutting off individual pixels meaning you get 100% black levels. Great for movie watching and if you use a dark theme can improve battery life too.
I personally bought the ON8 only because of the 1080 AMMOLED display and little else ! :P
Also with the ongoing sale it was available for 15k with a 32 GB SD card.
