Or you may wait for a while the upcoming budget phone Sony Xperia tipo, which has HVGA screen, better internal memory, better RAM, etc., and runs on latest Android 4 (Ice Cream Sandwich)...... Also, Micromax A50 Ninja is a dual sim and totally Value For Money phone ....... Micromax A50 Ninja and Samsung Galaxy Y have almost same features. But Micromax A50 has dual sim support and is cheaper deshi phone........Samsung Galaxy Pocket has smaller screen (only 2.8 inch), lower screen resolution (QV GA), lowest 3G speed ( HSDPA : 3.6 Mbps only), has ARMv6 processor, which does Not support some apps like Mozilla Firefox, Adobe Flash Player 11 (so ALL TYPES of video streaming is not possible), etc., has no GPU for gaming, no FREE micro sd card in the box, and is Not value for money mobile (considering its features, the price of it should be Indian Rs. 4k to 5k)...... Now the final decision is yours......

Although its a bit smaller than galaxy y, galaxy pocket is an improved version of galaxy y overall faster, clearer and more internal memory

i just purchased this phone last week..and for mer,it's a must have.it's very easy to use..and very classy as well..my phone color is white..

This phone gets turned off during sleep mode. Not immediately after entering the sleep mode. But after half an hour or so. You have to press the power button for about 10-20 seconds to restart the phone. Hardware reset is not working. Battery drains very quickly, even if no background application is running, wifi, packet data and gps turned off. Disappointed, i have bought this phone on 23rd June and its turning off during sleep from the very first day.

...the samsung galaxy pocket is simply awesome....all you have to do is master it and it will amaze...mastery is all it takes to make your galaxy pocket into a genius phone.move beyond just knowing the basics like calling,reading emails,social networking,bluetooth basics and all that easy stuff and unravel the mistery behind the science that made the galaxy pocket and it will dawn on you what a beauty you behold in your pocket and then you'll enjoy it since you'll know how to use it..thats the bottomline.
