"HTC Explorer" has better screen-size (3.2 inch), better screen-resolution (320 X 480 pixels, or HVGA), better 3g-speed (14.4 Mbps), better camera (3.15 MP), better battery-backup, and supports adobe-flash-player (for streaming videos) with a 600 MHz cpu............The average price of "HTC Explorer" is Indian Rs. 8000/-.

This phone is not worth 8K. May be the built in 3GB memory makes the phone costly. But rest assured, Galaxy Y is better and cheaper.

Nice future but ,3G Speed as per compare to the price samasung galaxy y has 7.2 mbps speed in 3G.

For those who would like to have a clue on this phones price,comparing this to Samsung Galaxy Y it has ..Googles Android v2.3(gingerbread) OS unlike its sibling which has a higher version of v2.3.5
..smaller screen size
..lower screen resolution
..no proximity sensor
..and lower 3G speed,
this would probably cost under a $115,but surely lower than the Galaxy Y:-)

AnonD-50713, 16 Apr 2012android 2.3 big ya 2.3.5 plz ans Android 2.3, and Android 2.3.5 both are Gingerbread, but the version 2.3.5 has got some improved features...........The latest version is Android 4.0.4, or Ice Cream Sandwich...........The future version will be Android 5X, or Jelly Bean (which will probably support Android, and Windows operating system in a same device).

No big screen.tft display.no video calling.
Just 3.2 mbbs.this price 7.2 mbbs and best quality mobile available in market.notnot a good. Mobile it not a good phone.waste phone.
