I chose the middle eastern version just because it supports Arabic in addition to English. I recommend you download the official version if you haven't.

You have to go first to www.sammobile.com and download the appropriate version for your region, you have to sign up to be able to download.
The downloaded file should consist of 4 files, download (Odin Downloader) from google, then pack it with those 4 files, connect your phone and start..
Don't forget to backup all your data before upgrading your firmware..

You have to sign up for a new account first then type b7510 on the search box, you will find different versions, choose 2.3.6 for the middle east which supports arabic.
The firmware will be downloaded in 4 different folders, after the download completes, download an application called Odin or samsung galaxy pro downloader, latest version preferably, it's available on google search then follow the instructions on the following link, it's a very easy process.

Samsung Galaxy Pro is quite a nice phone..its just the fact that apps downloaded are stored on the phone's own internal memory..it shoulda been on the SD card cuz the internal memory aint enough...

Hi All Galaxy pro user i updated my phone to ginger bread 2.3.6 and running very well better than before available for diffrent regions like euproe , middle-east and asia
