I bought this phone and have been using it for the last two weeks. Following are my observations & comments, and anyone please help me in just increasing the battery life, it is hardly ON for exactly a day... Everything seems to be amazing in this phone especially all mail configuration, wifi, 3G, camera though no flash, music player, etc. Short drawbacks are... no call/end button, only touch for call/end, pairing with bluetooth head set the whole day is draining the battery quickly, similarly battery drains quickly while accessing internet via wifi or even 3G/edge. Then the last major drawback is that this has no inbuilt maps, internet connection is required always, is it right?
Except for battery life and no inbuilt maps, this phone is really lovely and is amazingly good.

Not user friendly.
1) set calander for reminder but only "Beep"tone once and without light indicator to alert when not attended to the Beep tone.
2) alarm unable to off, as accidently keyed the wrong button and unable to trace to Off the alarm - no choice but to turn off the phone and restart.
3) at time unable to hear the caller's voice - halfway no tone.
4) too completed to trace the menu

very good fone..great battery backup.am satisfied.and its needs good wireless lan covarage otherwise it will disconnect

Hey Friends !! Can any one tell me how long does this phone's battery back up lasts if used only with gprs plan ( 2g network ) ? I love the specs but m afraid of the battery back up.....plz help me..

if battery is d only mattr thn go for eithr android booster or juice defender.
i hav installd android booster n its wrkng good...i am able to feel d chng... i had same prob n m out of it n feeling dis cell is d best. Moreovr androids updated version wil b releasd soon whch wil covr dis battery drain mattr hopefully....
u instal booster n reply me if u find d chng... gud luck

Is awesome for new features & love this because the this OS is android & processor its fine so over all its nice pakage for youngsters.

I purchased this phone from Reliance Digital on 01.06.2011 for a price of 12.5k. I admire the beauty of the phone and it's myriad features. But the battery back up is a big let down. Has not lasted more than a day even on minimal usage. If i access internet (only for facebook or wikipedia), the battery gets drained in a couple of hours. Youtube loads pretty slower. Samsung Apps don't start immediately. What processor are we talking about?
I took it for servicing with Reliance, who were as uncourteous and ignorant, did keep the phone for three days, did not respond until i walked into that store asking for my phone. They said the software has been updated and the battery would last a minimum one and a half day. But phew! It is the same.
Such a beautiful phone with such good features (Google places, Samsung IM, Maps are extremely helpful) needs to show good battery performance. How else would one access them?

This is badly coppied from moto charm. Storage is only 160mb, performence is not good. My friend using moto charm,, thats realy good than this one,

shine, 14 Jul 2011same problem,may battery drained so fast in just few hours.... moreUse a right application to maximize ur battery. Install a juice defender. As far as you use that application. Ur battery will last for 48hours.

With 512 mb storage, flash support and its processor i would go for the phone. I find it better than galaxy 551

by all means so far i found this phone damn good no issues with the battery d touch screen is insta responsive Android OS is juzzz fab love the big touch screen + d qwerty key pad ..................... overall a superb package by samsung @ an AMAZING PRICE

nithish, 13 Jul 2011compared to e71 samsungs battery life is very poor.... e71 ... moreif battery is the consideration, go for Nokia E5/E71.
while if other features are the consideration, go for
galaxy Pro. You can hardly expect everything to get
going in a single phone in this price range,

If this phone is so bad,why it is being labelled as
much better than Nokia E5 in many web sites.NokiaE5 has a better battery, camera,RAM,flash support, free life time GPS. So on the basis of Android and capacitive touch screen,is it still better than Nokia E5 ? As many users say, its battery is shit and Android 2.2 is almost incompatible with its hardware infrastaructure. So is it worthwhile to purchase this
phone? The MobileStores outlets in Delhi say that
this phone is discontinued because of its poor feedback. I cannot understand whether the MobileStore
or the users are telling lies or the phone has some
genuine defects.
Please clarify as I have to choose between
Nokia E5 or Samsung Galaxy Pro B7510. I want to purchase one of these handsets.
