I jz bought the mobile 4 days back . the Battery sux big time . it lasts only for a day when kept in idle and 3 hours of internet . plz tel me how it lasts for 2 days without plugging it to charge plz !! waiting 2 hear frm u :)

guyz i recently buy dis phn 4 apprx 9.8 k...
dis phn is daamm cool... beats every phn in performance and looks in this range...
its 2.8 inch capacitve touch screeen is very mch responsve with no lag... 800mhz proccesr is dammn fast..
m running hd games in it wid no lag...
qwerty keypad of ds phn is vry useful and stylshh..
batry is a bit dissappntng.. bt it lasts upto 1 day...
overall a grt android phn... it has everythng...
thumbs up 2 samsung 4 this phone... a must buy product ... :)))

Samsung Galax... morehey nich,, i had that same problem before i buy the galaxy pro i was thinking which one is better... but apparently the galaxy pro's touchscreen is better and its battery is the best... that's why i got it..
here is some tips to help you.. if you're loking for more media phone than a messenger phone.. pick the 551 cuz it has multitouch and bigger screen... and if you're looking for connectivity and always online without caring for battery drainage andcharging the phone every hour and the best keyboard and messenger phone out there... pick the galaxy pro.. cuz its screen is just perfect for messaging and IMs and chatting stuff... its your choice and its your phone after all..... and btw .. my other phone was samsung omnia i900 .. and i just bought the galaxy pro 2 days ago.. and i'm online all day letterally and typing since i charged it the first time.. and the battery still rocks... 2 days without charging and twitting and IMs all the day.. go for it buddy ... :)

If screen size and resolution matters, then my advice do not go for it and sacrifice the QWERT feature in favour of the availability of applications and image clarity. Bear in mind that screen keybaord will be big enough on the 4" screens, which might facilitate getiing use to "future and current trend" keyboard.
Moreover, the device does not allow proxy authentication behind Wi-Fi in 2.2.2 OS.
