I've no screen protector on as the one it came with bubbles on it. But it's good t this phone comes pre installed with screen protector which is good.

Since the display is the biggest devourer of battery life . So it’s better to adjust the screen brightness manually. I've always done it manually.. I never use auto brightness. With the brightness of the display on this phone I keep mine at 80% and even then display is still bright. I hope this helps and you get the problem solved:)

If theres any pre installed apps that can be disabled that you dont use that will help. But of course theres some preinstalled apps that need to be running on android system. Then as you know display uses battery. I've mine turned down to 80% as its bright enough. There is also emails and calander syncing going on in background. I dont have widgets on home screen like weather as it uses battery. The list goes on. Also there could be an app that's causing it. I hope you get the problem solved:)

For me the most annoying thing is battery goes down to 99% the moment I unplug it from getting fully charged without using the phone & it further goes down with wifi off also the standby time ain't good, from night till morning it goes down to 4-5% without any usage.

It could be the smallest thing that might have caused it. I really hope the instructions I gave you will solve the problem.

I'm wondering why yours restarted? I dont think it's to do with Android 10. And you dont have auto restart on? You could try googling it. The reasons why I restart my phone at least once a week is because it retains memory, preventing crashes, runs more smoothly, and prolongs battery life. . Restarting the phone also clears open apps and memory leaks, and gets rid of anything draining your battery. That's why I advice it. But it's up to the users choice.

Maggi, 29 Jan 2020Hi. Even if your phone is in idle mode some apps run in bac... moreHi Maggi I know I have mentioned this before bur you keep advising to restart your phone at least once a week. I place my phone on charge every night and many mornings, probably every third day, when I unplug the phone tells me that it was re-started overnight and to use my pin to open it and gain access. This never happened with my s8 and I wonder whether it is a feature of Android 10 and if so then there would be no need to manually restart once per week?
