As it's only happened this once it could have been slight cliche. If it keeps happening then you can try soft reset. I'm sorry I cant be of anymore help.

scorpio, 30 Jan 2020Hi Maggi I know I have mentioned this before bur you keep a... moreHi scorpio. I dont charge my phone during the night.so I never had that problem. I'm wondering why yours restarted? I dont think it's to do with Android 10. And you dont have auto restart on? You could try googling it. The reasons why I restart my phone at least once a week is because it retains memory, preventing crashes, runs more smoothly, and prolongs battery life. . Restarting the phone also clears open apps and memory leaks, and gets rid of anything draining your battery. That's why I advice it. But it's up to the users choice.

I place my phone on charge every night and many mornings, probably every third day, when I unplug the phone tells me that it was re-started overnight and to use my pin to open it and gain access. This never happened with my s8 and I wonder whether it is a feature of Android 10 and if so then there would be no need to manually restart once per week?

Email etc. Close all your tasks running in background. I've just took mine of charge and I've only lost 2% in battery while I'm typing this comment. Try restarting your phone. I do that once a week. It's good for battery. But some apps need to run in background.

Something is odd about the battery on this phone... Once I unplug from power source within 5mins of no use, battery has dropped from 100% to 97%... Then the battery just keeps on dropping on standby. It's annoying. What could be the cause? I always leave mobile data on.

Super Presh, 27 Jan 2020Hello everyone! Does leaving this phone constantly on fast ... moreI normally put my s10 on the charger every night when I go to bed and unplug it in the morning when I get up. I do the same with my wife's iPhone 11 and also did it with my previous s8 and her previous iPhone 8. I really could not say whether charging through the night affects the battery life but there has never been a problem. Also out of interest to some is that I had my sim card changed over to an e-sim before X'mas at no charge on the suggestion of Telstra here in Australia and there have not been any problems.

I've never thought of slow charging. As long as it charges in time I need to then I'm happy with that. But yes , some ppl use slow charge. I sometimes use wireless charging pad if I'm busy with doing something I set it on wireless pad and let it charge. But like I said I use fast cable charging.

Super Presh, 27 Jan 2020Hello everyone! Does leaving this phone constantly on fast ... moreYes it does, try to charge between 2-10 and plug it out between 90-98, that makes battery run more in the future and give atleast 2 days charging gap that will make the charger also good run so both charger and battery will be unarmed for the future and that is what I do for my S10 plus.
