I LOVE the Note series. I had all of them until the Note 7 was on fire and I switched to S7 Edge. With Note 8 Samsung were a little too precautions with the battery for a productivity smartphone so I switched to Lg V30 ( great battery, great camera, great compact design, great ultrawide camera - a standard for the entire industry from 2019. I still recomend it as a FABULOUS value for money)
Although very passionate of photos ( like most of us), I ignored the P20 Pro because of the Huawei name = chinese brand. But, between Note 9 and Mate 20 Pro there was no rational choice and I took Huawei
I waited S10 launch event dreaming of Note 10.
BUT.... some kind of dissapointment. It is an S9+ with an ultrawide camera. THAT'S ALL. A better processor - S9 was no slow one. And other gimmicks.... Just gimmicks
I admitt a very good phone JUST NOT THE BEST as I was used to from Samsung

S10+ better than 2018 Mate 20 Pro = headphone jack, better stereo speakers, 123° ultrawide camera vs 107°, better VIDEO camera quality

2018 Mate 20 Pro better than S10+ = Ultra Fast 40 Watt charger, Better 40 Mp camera, better night mode, better 5x zoom, Autofocus on ultrawide camera, IR Blaster,

Tie = battery, speed, dispkay, design, dimensions, Emui vs One UI, Security ( ultrasonic fingerprint vs 3D facial recognition) etc etc. Minor differences for the 99% of users, or, anyway, subjective prefferences and no objective ones

And this is a 2018 phone. In march they launch P30 Pro.... With 4 rear cameras. THAT I expect to be a Revolution not an Evolution like the S10

PS 1 : in 2018 Huawei went on nr 2 in the world and in 2019 thay are aiming for No 1. So I expect them to do a revolution

PS 2 : From the S7 series Samsung adopted the Apple "strategy" of making BIG profit on Brand name alone
The S8 was S7 edge with different 19:9 display ratio. DIFFERENT DESIGN. That's all. Same 12MP camera
S9 was S8 with a variable apperture camera. That's all. Same 12MP camera
S10 is S9 with wide angle camera ( not even autofocus one) . That's all. Same 12MP camera.
Really Sammy? That is it? From P10 to P20 Pro is way much more inovation within one generation than from S7 to S10 - 3 generations

PS 3: my entire comment is about TO BE THE BEST. I admit that all Samsung phones are great. Just not the best like they used to, in order to find reasons to buy Note 10 as I miss the S Pen. But even Mate 20 Pro is better in some categories than Note 10 ( Note 10 will be S10+ with stylus like in the last 5 years). Mate 30 Pro will be m7ch higher

PS 4 : if you intend to order an S10+ wait another 3 weeks for P30 Pro launch and then take a decision. You might have a big surprise

PS 5 : There is NO REAL competition between Android ad Apple, smth like S10+ vs Xs Max. 95% of the choice is the OS. An Apple user doesn't switch NO MATTER how good the competition. And viceversa


    If you take all that things that samsung is what it is , if you take them all , they are mostly developed from galaxy s3
    Smart stay ect ect.
    After galaxy s7 edge , samsung made a fuge change in the look by removing home button, and after that nothing.
    Now samsung takes away ONE THING that make him look like what he looks like , notigucation led....
    Plus they take away iris scan , and for what?????
    Another camera.
    Why dont we all use camera that can call , then everybody is happy right

      S10+ power packed device from Samsung...
      But Galaxy Fold is also impressive these devices will bring Samsung's profit Up and Up

        I saw from 2016 since S7 released, the innovation of Samsung are Overwhelming!.

        10 years has pass for S series,
        And right now you can enjoy watch an movie in Full display WQHD+ 19:9 1440x3040 with HDR10 plus and dynamic AMOLED??! what the hell!.. our eyes seen unbelievable display phone ever see!, still leading best out smartphone display and for VR of course!

If you don't use it, just don't... I personally was very satisfied that samsung didn't follow a trend blindly. I myself use bluetooth headphones but most of the time i forget to charge and they run out of juice. So do i just sit there waiting to get home to be able to charge the phone? I dont think so. It's better to have a feature rather than not having it!

Ceramics are highly scratch proof materials, for someone who would buy the 512GB/1TB version, he must be a heavy user. I would rather carry an addition 12% weight than having my phone's back heavily scratched. Now you might be saying but "how many heavy users would there be out there?" idk but i would say many. Those who have been suffering from scratches on the back. Ofc this may seem trivial but in the end you are not paying 1200$ to have a scratched back :).

Get the 12GB RAM/1TB + 400GB SD card from SanDisk ... moreWell yes if phone have 12 gb ram is mean all aps will take from ram around 1.3 gb + sistem android instaled is take 6-7 gb so they made right move for ad ssd dosen't mater how big is memory. Some time is godd for have a backup in case hapen your phone will not work.

                          I own note 9 , and I am disapointed in s10+...
                          So screen is better in some way.
                          Cameras , well they are just pushing them untill reaching point where there is no more points to be reached , i personaly dont care about 3 cameras.

                          No notification light.
                          THING THAT I LOVE ABOUT SAMSUNG!!!!

                          NO MAJOR CHANGES IN LOOK OR SOMETHING.

                            Gonna wait 6 months or so for the prices to go down and I'll upgrade my S8+ either to S10+, Sony XZ4 or Note 9.
                            I'm also planning to get a 400GB SD card from SanDisk :)

                                Behind the stage sound was so loud but when it uncovered it hasn't that much loud voice.....S10 plus you are not my expectation......10th anniversary should be more fantastic than this...... :( :( :( :( look like dumbest look, ewww.

                                    Am I right in thinking that the s10 plus has no notification led and I am disappointed that it doesn't have the iris scanner also and I have the S9 plus 256gb version and I don't feel like this is really worth it to buy right now to be honest but when the price falls which it will do then it could be worth it.

                                      I will buy the regular s10 or the note 9 the s10+ front camera is too big in my opinion i hate it :(
