I.undrstand how frustrating it must be for your wife. ... moreI have restarted, wipe cache from recovery mode but heating is still there as she is an heavy user so that might be the problem but in normal use it heats so couldn't do anything on it, downloading One UI 3.1 from Odin is a large amount of time to take out, just hope it would come to overcome this problem as a regular update didn't get the job done.

It will help.battery. The only.thing I.suggest is doing another wipe cache partion. I'm sorry to hear she has these heating problems. I hope she gets the update soon. Also check any apps that may be the cause. We pay high price for samsung phones which are my favourite brand. Samsung should keep the updates coming to solve problems like heating etc. But once your wife receives it then hopefully the heating problem will be solved. I have to point out while I downloaded 3.1 my phone was hot. But then I rebooted it into recovery mode and wipe cache partition and I rebooted my phone which I do every week and its running smooth. The only thing that Samsung did that is annoying is having to hook phone up to computer to get into recovery mode now They shouldn't have changed it. It was better the way it was before. But it's not a real big problem. Anyways like I said its a waiting game with updates..

It can be frustrating for some ppl. I understand that. But at the end of the day ppl will get it. Some get it earily than others. It's a waiting game. Note 10 plus hasn't recieved it. If it comes it comes. Samsung has been my favourite phone for years. I've tried other brand but keep going back to Samsung. Pphave thier own choice in which phone they prefer. And good to hear.your s10 is running smooth on 3.0.

I also search daily in vain but you can't let it get to you. To be honest it would not really bother me too much if my next phone was an iPhone12 but I am stuck with Samsung because I have a Samsung watch which would not be fully combatable with an iPhone. So the s22 is likely to be my next phone. Could do a lot worse though............

            Azo, 18 Mar 2021How is the Camera of S21+ compared to S10+? A huge differen... moreI have tried S21+ vs S10+ in camera comparing. And S21+ is totally another world. It has great zoom on 10x and very good on 30x, richer colours and more quality with less noise in bad light conditions. Selfie is also better on S21+. Battery life should be better on S21+ than S10+ because of capacity and newer screen with less consumption. I would like to have S21+ instead of S10+. You should try it but I'm sure you will se all of qualities and new technology in S21+.

When you go into gallery and press on photos or videos there's a flimstrip along the bottom to easily scroll to next video or photo. Go into setting in gallery and scroll down to see if you have a feature called Galaxy tabs. If not then go into about gallery and keep pressing version number which will come up counting each time you press it until.it reaches 4. You can either keep using filmstrip or you can remove it. Maybe you all know about it. Just a thought....

My s10 is working just fine on 3.0. Surely there are more important things in this world to worry about than a phone update. Foolish reaction.

I can unde... moreI am waiting for months and this is what they have delivered, good thing is that I have given my S10+ to my wife but now she wants iphone too as for the Camera and smooth transations but still keeping it cuz this is the best device still around and hoped to see good and healthy updates but no Samsung likes to play with its users and so we will play too, soon will be switching to a new phone.

Note 10 plus hasn't got it yet. S10 plus did get it. So it is frustrating not recieving the update. You should have gotten the 3.1 update by now. Remember everyone got 3.0 update and it was few weeks before I got it. Samsung pushes it to carriers. Then carriers push it to thier phones. Some carriers are slow.. Hopefully you will recieve it soon..

S20 might have better display but that comes with battery draining. I've read ppl who went from s10 plus to s20 ultra and regretted it. Yet there are some who are like s20 Ultra. Samsung has been great with keeping s10 plus with security updates and upgrades. I'm glad I didn't go with s20. That's my personal opinion on it. Other ppl have thuer own opinions and I respect that.

It will backup calls, messages, contacts etc.to Google account or samsung account if you choose.
