Anonymous, 19 Oct 2020How do you do that? You can do this without turning off your phone.
Press and hold the Volume Up key and the Bixby key, then press and hold the Power key.
When the Android logo displays, release all three keys. It will go into recovery mode. You will see menu options appear.
Press the Volume down button to highlight wipe cache partition.
Press Power key to select.
When the wipe cache partition is complete, scroll down Reboot phone.

Maggi, 18 Oct 2020Maybe where you bought it that it came with the problems. ... moreBought from a large high street retailer in England and was in a factory sealed and wrapped package. Definitely a new phone and not a refurbished model. I am not into gaming so that aspect of any phone does not interest me.

Phone battery sucks A$$ after 2.5 update. Exynos model here. Anyone have the same issue? Also there's a slight delay when tapping on apps to open them up.

Maybe you bought refurbished one.
Then go for Asus ROG 2 or ROG 3 phone. They are awesome for gaming and have futuristic design.

I myself have none of the ones you mentioned. The phone is good with a cover on or case on. Makes it feel sturdy in the hand. Where did you buy yours from if you don't mind me asking?

Since it will be eventually eligible for android 12, is it still worth buying in Oct 2020 for 500 euros?

I bought a new sealed S10+ based on the reviews and tests here and elsewhere. Unboxed it, looked nice but felt terrible in my hand, too flat and uncomfortable. Charged it, as it was completely flat, set it up, tried it out, came to the conclusion that it was an awful phone. Factory reset it and returned it. Reasons, 1) Uncomfortable to hold. 2) Terrible screen with very poor viewing angles and very poor colour retention unless viewed straight on. Considering that this has a wide angle front camera group chats looked awful to anyone apart from the person directly square on to the screen. 3) The screen had a very distinct shift to green when viewed at even the slightest off centre position. 4) The bottom facing speaker did not sound balanced to the "ear piece" output. I have heard much better for a lot less money. ---- Based on this experience I will not be adding Samsung to my new short list. Very disappointed.
