scorpio, 11 Jul 2020Not yet Maggie. I only got the June update last week. Updat... moreHi Scorpio. Lol.. Crazy is the word. You should get update soon. Regards to s9 plus, I sold it to.a friend . But my partner has s9 plus running android 2.1. I really liked the s9 plus plus. Because like I.said at the beginimg there wasn't a massive diff between the s9 plus and s10 plus. S10 plus is of course lighter, Display is slightly better to me on s10 plus. S9 plus has some features of s10 plus. My partner is happy with his. To tell you the truth I liked both my s9 plus and s10 plus. Except for extra ram the s9 plus is still good phone. I miss the fingerprint scanner at the back. It never failed me on s9 plus. Again like I've said not a massive difference between the two. Thats my personal.opinion .

Entropy, 10 Jul 2020How much time does the battery take to drop by 1% when 1) ... moreNo matter what you do through the day with phone it will bring minimum 24hours battery life in my power user case. I browse web a lot (few hours a day) and I type tones of messages daily and I have always turned on 4G+ bluetooth and GPS often. I have always on display(+ aod notify parallel), quad HD resolution, brightness on 75 to 100%, screen off 2 minutes, often I listen music on 80+% of volume, watch some videos,...If you have less applications(just basic for social media) you will probably get 36 to 40hours. Overnight maximum drain on wifi is 4%, without wifi probably 1%.
SIM card and mobile network is biggest factor in battery drain, it's massive consumer. Pull out the SIM and you will know what I'm talking about. The phone uses no power. You can have 100% for hours.
Secondly I have too many applications (160 and half of them are really heavy and some are running in background minumum 20 of them) and that "drains" battery in standby but barely. That is reason I have often 24 hours battery life. If you install just whatsapp, viber and few more applications you will get up to 2 days battery life. And RAM usage is often between 4.5 to 5.8 gigs, but sometimes but rarely I found 7.5 gigs used from 12GBs. Phone is great for power user and has big storage(I have 795gigs free and I put all possible stuff in it with tones of music, tens of thousands of photos, videos and maps data for navigations, tone of streaming applications and some games).
I wouldn't risk with high taxes, frauds and etc. for Snapdragon. It's not worth it at all. I missed the FM radio on phone but I'm all day in car with playing radio LoL.
This phone is really powerful and with this one you will get what you deserve from one topnotch flagship phone. I never run out of battery with this one. I won with this phone, doubts about Exynos are gone for thousands of miles. On the contrary Snapdragon phones were very bad with overheating issues on 4G and while gaming and expressed battery drain on 4G. And antutu test are redicilous. Try this phone and you will now you are using F1 on track, not some shitty Ferrari or Lambo like will PRO drivers say for "supercars" if you ask them behind cameras. Youtubers will always lie in front of cameras if they are good payed for it to say it. This is Earth.

Maggi, 10 Jul 2020Scorpio , Did you get july security update yet? I got it to... moreNot yet Maggie. I only got the June update last week. Updates here in Australia appear to ne notoriously slow. On a different note and just out of interest do you still have your s9+ and if so how much better is the s10+............or is that a difficult question to answer because they are very close. Also I totally agree with you regarding this Exynos vs Snapdragon rubbish that is going around. People are like parrots and like to repeat what others say whether right or wrong. crazy.

Exynos model.from performance, to battery etc is very very good. All these bad comments about this model is ridiculous! I have to laugh...... Thats why i disagree when someone posts comments that its bad. So anyone who posts negative comments about Exynos model are probably not owners of this phone. I own it coming a yr in August and have not one problem with it. This is an amazing phone and I'm glad to own and use it:)

scorpio, 10 Jul 2020Rubbish statement. You are just repeating what someone else... moreHow much time does the battery take to drop by 1% when 1) browsing the web or reading a web page and 2)Watching videos. If its more than 5 mins for 1% drain, then its good for exynos. Also what is the per hour drain when not in use (not overnight) for Exynos. I am asking as I am thinking to import Snapdragon because of bad reviews for exynos all over the web. I dont play games, so high performance does not matter to me, but I need long standby battery.

Super Presh, 07 Jul 2020Snapdragon version is available only in the US, China and m... moreI have already told best performing phone with quickest UI is ROG Phone 2, not S10+ Snapdragon. How about that ? LoL. Asus is bad about updates with bugs and delaying. Samsung with Exynos is great because is the my first phone after Z1 Compact and LG G6 + without overheating on 4G+. I have 160 applications for 10 years on phone and it is standard for me on S10+ either(12GB RAM). I can do on S10+ what I want and app opening is always instant like on Z1C (2GBRAM) and G6+(4GB RAM). Those stories about "flying" S10+ Snapdragon are redicilous and nonsense. If I want brutal phone I'll buy ROG 3 next month but it is pointless at this moment and also in future. I am power user but I know my needs and I'm common sense.

Anonymous, 07 Jul 2020Exynos owner in coping mechanism mode because you know you&... moreI knew what I was buying when I got S10+ 1TB. Most powerful phone is ROG 2 and it has too cool futuristic and distinctive design. I thought it is just for me with 512GB but 900€. (I was looking for Asus since Zenfone 3 deluxe 256GB). I asumed ROG 2 is too expensive and I don't need gaming and too big phone(thick and very long body without IP68, wireless charging and micro sd) with too much power. I had Snapdragon phones for 8 years. I decided to spend 700€ on phone exactly I wanted. This is my first Samsung. Elegant, classic, practic and enough powerful phone with style for future with tones of features. I wanted to try Exynos and it is excellent and mighty. And it is 200€ cheaper then Asus. S10+ is just phone for me. Nor P30 Pro, Note 10+, S20 series aren't for me.

Anonymous, 07 Jul 2020Exynos owner in coping mechanism mode because you know you&... moreSnapdragon version is available only in the US, China and maybe Korea. Every other part of the world uses Exynos version and nobody has died from using it. So, I don't really believe the difference (if any) is that significant.
But hey, if Snapdragon rocks your boat then go for it if you can...but don't go the extra mile. If you import it from another region you'll be losing your warranty which I think is more useful than the minute difference you'll experience

Super Presh, 07 Jul 2020Is it advisable to leave fast charging always on or not?Hi. I always have fast charging on. And fast wireless charging on. But I hardly use my wireless charger. So its fine to keep it on.
