With the A52 you will buying new but not quite as capable as the s10 and also physically larger. I have an s10 and it is a great phone but mine was purchased new in September 2019. If you can buy it with a warranty then it may be good buying. But new is still new. A dilemma.

But slower CPU, less RAM, no telephoto, not a compact size. And probably worse build quality. I have S10 but I'd go for A52 if not the size.

Great phone overall, especially after upgrading from a 4 year old midrange. May not have the latest and grratest things but for me and most people it is more than enough. Also I got it for half the price when it was released

Got the One UI 3.1 update today.. The phone feels as smooth as day 1 firmware again (it was a bit sluggish in last android 10 updates and one 3.0 update). I am really happy with this phone..

I still can't find a phone good enough to replace S10 and with Android 11 they did battery miracles and I have more than 5H of screen time where before it was only 3 and half max. Really happy with this phone, no complains only things that are slightly annoying but you have to deal with it. I'm waiting for Xiaomi to introduce proper phone with underscreen selfie camera, then I can switch to something new.

I bought the Samsung 10 having had Samsung before. Its is in every way a nice phone. There is just one serious drawback. Put it on any surface that is not 90% say on top of a paper on your desk, on the car seat, on the dashboard, on a chair any of the places that you don't normally think that you will put your phone and you will soon realize that you do it all the time and with this phone you can't. The phone will slip and fall to the floor. I say a guy only on youtube who put it on a lets say 88% angle surface, it was almost 90% and it fell to the floor. I didn't think much of it at the time, thinking I didn't have to put it on those surfaces. Real world wakeup call!!! But having tried this almost every day for months now I am so annoyed that I have actually sat down to find a place I can write this review. You should know this before you buy it.

I've been using the unlocked S10 for a little over 2 years now. The battery still lasts me a full day and I've never had an issue with freezing, lagging, or any other problems. The only cons are the fingerprint reader is not as good as the s9 and there is no notifications lights. If Samsung decides to add the headphone jack and micro sd card slot to the upcoming Note 21, I might consider upgrading or I will need to find a new phone.
