That was probably a trial from Samsung. But people totally disliked it. And hence Samsung brought them back into their next-gen phones.

                          RMR, 29 Jul 2020That’s why those phones were beast during their old age. 256GB of storage and faster storage like UFS are more than enough for a smart phones this days.

                          Ps. Wish Samsung if made S20 5g exact like S10 5g, but with new faster storage of UFS 3.1, 256GB, 512GB,4k@120fps (no need 8K).

Single sim and phone without SD card slot... moreI used both S10 plus and now S10 5g and I noticed the different in terms of overall performance despite both phones comes with Exynos 9820 even in gaming as you know that Exynos Soc are not that great when it comes to gaming unless the game optimized for it like asphalt 9 and Fortnite that snapdragon 865/865+ can’t run at 60fps Exynos can, the lack of sd card and dual sim reduce the throttling by a good margin I’ve even used one plus phones including one plus 8 pro of my friend even one plus phones doesn’t comes with sd card, but dual sim still causing some throttling even with gaming. I’m nit saying dual sim are bad thing, but since google didn’t support dual sim and sd card plus fastest sd card will not going to be as fast as nand flash built in storage then no needed.
