this phone actually holds up pretty well in 2025, small screen too, only bad thing is battery and chip, if you really nee android 14/15 that badly just custom rom it.

this phone looks cool is ergonomic and they have sd card slot, 3.5mm headphone jack and the side fingerprint scanner which is much better and faster and clearly the better option for the fingerprint scanner idk why they choose to put scanners in the screen instead of the back or the lock screen button it's so much convenient this way why are all phones now doing the fingerprint scanners in the screen it's so dumb imo

Andrew, 13 Feb 2025Since this is my 8th s10e I've purchased so far (used ... moreI have ordered a Nohon battery from Aliexpress.

Waiting for 60 days now to get the battery. I plan on replacing the battery in my s10e snap dragon variant (USA), by myself. Only challenge I will have is to get the old battery out of the phone, as that glue resin is tough.

I am doing this out of curiosity. I just want to see how big a difference the Screen on time will be with the Nohon battery, I'm running on android 12 with the factory Samsung battery. Cannot use a custom rom on snap dragon, hence trying the battery replacement with Nohon brand.

I will post the results here once I am done with the replacement and testing.

Hmm, 28 Jan 2025S25 is a good alternative. Almost identical size, weight etc.Get the A25, it was the LAST Samsung model to have a 3.5 headphone jack.

The S tiers are a waste of money.

Had to get this phone in a big hurry to replace an ancient Samsung that couldn't update past Android 7.

Reasonable priced mid-ranged Android phone, but hampered by a battery that recharges SO FREAKING SLOW because it only has 15w input! If your battery runs flat you have a 2 hour wait at maximum charging power.

It's a very nice daily driver for average things and a lot better than the bargain-tier Samsung that I used to have (forget the model but it was like $100 when brand new).

Samsung DEX is awesome if you grab a good USB-C port breakout dongle - $50-100 on Amazon. Then you can plug right in with HDMI to any TV or computer monitor you like, right out of the box.

It is available on Aliexpress, but they do not ship to India. It is really expensive even if I try to ship it.

Anyone in India, Mumbai know where I can get this Nohon Battery for the Samsung s10e (snapdragon version)

In the meantime, my other s10e (exynos version), its battery is really giving up. It has an original Samsung battery in it, probably never changed. I can get baarely 2 to 3 hours of SOT with just usage on calls, whatsapp and medium browsing on chrome, followed by drafting a few emails.

If anyone knows where I can get a Nohon Battery for the Samsung s10e. I am based in India, Mumbai.

Reporting in - white galaxy s10e 128gb with 16gb sd card- that card is filled with songs and documents. I'm on crdroid 11.1 android 15. Got a new battery last year. As of now SOT is 4 hrs. My usage is centered around calls, texts, usual productive tasks and lot of music listening. I do have wired iems from 2018 and they go well on this phones jack. So far this phone lasts a day for me and I'll keep using it. Earphones probably need replacing since one side sometimes doesnt work but a replacement will only cost $5 and go 5+ years.

ionutbogdan, 31 Jan 2025Asus Zenfone 10asus is dishonest liar, they got taken to court for lying about zenfone bootloader and forced to refund.
zenfone is heavy thick brick anyway, its nothing like s10e.

I have it since 30 august 2023 and I love it except the 60hz ,I'll upgrade to s23 or any of this size that has 120hz

I agree. I have an old Galaxy Grand Prime (1GB RAM, 8GB storage, 32GB micro SD, and Android 5.1.1) that is way out of date but the form factor is almost identical to the S10e--that's why I've been keeping my Prime 'til now. I do not want anything taller (it fits in my buttoned shirt pocket, without any screen or case protector).

I am now forced to find something newer and the S10e with at least 6GB RAM (some have 8GB) seems to be a better choice, even with Android 9.0. However, the battery life is a problem if it needs constant recharging, so what else it there in this form factor?

I have one, and I see quite some people having it too. It's the only phone with the Pixel 4 that is smaller than 145mm, has Amoled display (important when wearing polarizing sun glasses), has USB C and audio jack. AND has a superb camera !

I have replaced the battery to give it a new life, but I don't know with what phone I'm going to replace this when its final day will arrive

It's a superb choice if you want a small and compact phone. I had my first s series samsung phone!

Battery is really really bad even when new.
Even phones with the best battery life like Sony Xperia 10 V and Xiaomi 14 are nothing special regarding battery life.
But S10e, this one you have to charge whenever you have the chance, for sure the first thing you come home. And 10.000 mAh power bank is almost a must.
And this is with 90-100% battery health, this phone is useless once it reaches 85%.

Xiaomi is supposedly making a mid-range 6.36" phone. And you have a Motorola Edge 50 Neo for 300€. Or a used S23, I got it for 325€ on ebay.de, but otherwise you should get it for 400€.

Although I saw one. Called "vivo x200 pro mini". The only bad thing is it's a chinese phone. I don't want to hand my data to Xi. So we're essentially left with this, right guys? Because, S23 is too expensive and I'm a student.
