Anno, 14 Feb 2022The update will come on February 19th?Android 12 or Lineage19? I don't know about either, sorry. I'm in Australia an android 12 had yet to be pushed to my s10e last month even though people in other regions on here said they got it in updates in January. It's a bit of a hassle to flash lineageOS, so I would wait for the next release instead of doing it now that way you will have android12, whereas I'll just stay on 18.1 instead of reflashing, it should be good for a few years yet.

I've been running LineageOS 18.1 on the s10e for about a month now and it's running great. You might want to hold off for 19 if android 12 is important to you, otherwise it's a great option for those of us who love that phone and want to continue using it for a few years yet.

Barely lasts a day extreme battery savings on won't cut it especially exynos chip other than that its good device if can get it cheap

And it says my phone is binded by samsung and it now reads as rooted. The apps have way to invasive permissions you cant uninstall. Bixby works against you bc of hackers ease of access. Every one please be careful of your wifi connection and blue tooth. It seems to connect through wifi Bluetooth and mobile data.

They can't add iris scanners or heart-rate sensors (random examples) through a software update. If you expect them to take you to space or reach new org*asmic heights with an update, of course you will be disappointed.

You only need it if you want to manually update some Samsung exclusive apps through the Galaxy Store. BUT I'm not 100% sure. However you can create an extra e-mail address for one time Samsung account use. Then, after you update the phone's OS, you can remove the Samsung account (ideally factory reset the phone) and start it up again without it. But I'd recommend having a samsung account, it's great for syncing and backing-up your stuff and allows you to personalize your phone more.
