Has anyone tried upgrading s10e's battery? I saw a 3rd party replacement battery with 4000mah. I'm just wondering if it's good and does fast charging still works.

It's just samsung made this 'e' version for basic purpose while having the same hardware on the other s10. That's why this phone doesn't have that big display and battery because it depends on your activity. If you're willing to buy a phone that you want to use both as essential and gaming, I suggest you to buy the s10+ it has more battery and slightly better display. Btw this phone is already 2 y/o so you can't complain about the performance and the battery life although it's still as fu*k boiii

rith, 05 Aug 2021May I know how is the battery life in 2021?Pretty awful. Using the phone since 2019, even with a new battery the latest android drains too much on standby. If you are willing to buy stay with Android 10.

I have it for 1 year and half. I think battery life could have been better, fortunately it's not too bad.

When you say "But now all the mid-range Samsungs are plastic and of poor quality" you seem to be implying that the S10e is a mid-range phone - it's not, it's a flagship. Why are you even comparing the S10e to newer mid-rangers? They are in a different class. Try making sense.

I definitely hope that Samsung can make a spiritual successor of this phone with the upcoming S22 series. After all, 5.8" is bang on right for a compact smartphone.

I bought a new unit in Singapore. The battery could last more than a day while I am a very light user. The screen is fine but I like LCD better. I am happy with a phone that could fit into my front pocket and still allows me to sit down comfortably :/

Do not buy this phone. After 8 to 12 months of usage, battery life goes very low.. Need to charge at least 4 times a day.

Why can't Samsung make a "flagship" spec this size more than every 3-4 years?
Galaxy S7->S10e->....
They think every idiot wants a phone like an American SUV, that weighs a pound, is a foot long and costs $2000.

Something that was not made anymore! Samsung then became plastic and poor quality !!!!
I wish the price of new Samsung phones was higher, but its design and quality were maintained.
Samsung was among the most high-quality and luxurious categories, such as the J5 and J7 PRo 2017
High quality metal body with excellent design and suitable hardware! Along with a great price!
But now all the mid-range Samsungs are plastic and of poor quality.
And the camera and screen between Samsung's new categories do not have the same quality as before!
I think Samsung is in decline and will have the same fate as Nokia - HTC and LG
