Ahmed, 06 Oct 2021It's sad to see all the comments on battery life . I f... moreThat's exactly what I did. I just bought an used Snapdragon version and I'm currently waiting for it to arrive.
If just Samsung or any other could just produce smaller factor phones with latest upgrades 90-120Hz, >512GB UFS 3.1/NVMe, IP68, battery >4000mAh (Pixel 5 managed to have a 4080mAh with almost same dimensions as S10e), and with aluminium back I'd buy it instantly.
In fact Google Pixel 5 would be perfect for me but IMHO 128GB in 2022 it's not enough. I have now a OnePlus 3T from Nov 2016 that has 128GB. After 5 years I would pretend smartphones to have at least 256GB as bare minimum because I want my phone to last until 2027.

Vvv1, 18 Oct 2021Should i buy s10e now?I think yes, because it is a solid phone with good features even for this time. But only the Snapdragon version! The Exynos version does not have a good battery life (own experience).

IMO this is very cheap to build desktop PC with. Find a black listed or damage one like cracks in display or back but it has to work in order to enable DEX. It would cost nearly $100-$120. Just attached display and keyboard/mouse. Samsung DEX is really good enough for desktop use and is very speedy.
If I can work with Snapdragon 845 or Kirin 970. 855 is very good. It's not perfect as budget laptop around $500 but it's way better experience than Celeron or Intel Atom I work with.

Besides that, after two years I've really got a crash with this phone. It just works! And with Samsung promising Android 13 on it I will keep it for the next two years to come.
Also haven't seen any Android compact phone of late that can compare. Even from Sony

My S10e Exinos now clocks 2 years and I'm happy to say that battery life is OK for me.
This is my first Samsung phone. Before I used Sony Xperia 3 and 5 and even before that Nokia 72, S6, Sony-Ericsson 800 & Nokia Communicator 9200.
The build quality is superb even comparing to Apple and Sony. Using it in seakayaking for like 16 hours straight.
Camera lacks abit of details comparing with Sony and Apple.
Dipped in saltwater more than twice..no problem.

It's sad to see all the comments on battery life . I feel for you all as I also suffered similar consequences with all my S series phones prior to this as all of them were exynos .
I bought this Snapdragon unit though an agent whom I had to pay almost a $100 more.
But to my surprise, this was the best decision .
The Snapdragon unit has gone better with every update . And the battery is similar to what I had when bought new .
My friend has the exynos s10e and we both updated to the same software. His one heating up with battery drain . I have no complaints whatsoever.
If there is a possible way to buy the Snapdragon unit, next time go for that people .

Now after more than half a year is it even worse. Really basic use, when you don't pay much attention to the phone during the day, maximum till 22:00 PM, when charged during the night.
I can't imagine when the phone should be a work phone.

Full charge time approx. 18 Hours
1 day is the total maximum, but with less use, when at work without control personal things on the phone.
One day trip with activity tracking (GPS on) and taking photos, looking at the map is a problem.

I bought one of these refurbished and so far I have been noticing that its battery charge lasts longer than in my 2019 vanilla S10, it appears I'll use this as my main phone; also I have connected this S10e and the S10 to a TV (HDMI to type c cable) and it does the job, haven't really tried connecting it to a laptop or desktop computer.
