Anonymous, 10 Jun 20193.5mm jack is like user removable battery, eventually no on... moreNo it's not. Your comparison is way off. Removable battery is preferred because it makes the much easier to maintain. Just buy another battery and replace. 3.5mm jack is preffered over wireless for a variety of reasons: 1) it is more reliable, 2) it doesn't have its own battery, you can therefore use it continuously even for days or months, 3) it has no interference even if there is typhoon, 4) it is much easier to replace, 5) it is cheaper, 6) it has way much more selection, 7) the true highend ones has much better sound. Wireless only real benefit is being wireless, nothing more.

So i understand why jack going to be removed.
Over the many years i were thinking for money.
Who dont create money and income cant run a bussiness is worth only for missionary things like to help others for free and having nothing as reward apart from thank you.
But from thank you any individual cant pay his bills, eat fresh food from supermarket or buy new clothes etc.

Anyone who doesn't want cables can simply forget the jack is there. It doesn't interfere with anything. And then there are those who like the jack for a number of reasons. Turntables were practically forgotten species yet they came back, ok, they're not going to compete with new tech but it's nice to see that some "ancient" inventions still have their place.

And most people are still unaware that wireless charging is way more slower than wired with the same output specs. And wireless charging is not eco friendly because it produces wasted energy and gives out radiation.

AnonD-731363, 28 Jan 2019Wireless is better and it always be. As technology escala... moreAgain, no disrespect but having both wireless and the 3.5 jack choices just proves that there's absolutely no need to discard the jack. Of course, new tech will always take over, oftentimes just to force us to buy more expensive gizmos, but I don't see how having the jack prevents anyone from going wireless. Having choices doesn't hurt, does it.

Steve, 04 Jun 2019The reality is that the exynos version in galaxy s10e is ve... moreWith all due respect, the reality is nothing like that at all. Nothing personal, I hung on to my rooted S5 because it was the last S with a removable battery. Finally gave up the fight, also decided to go unrooted. In a month and a half the Exynos S10e disproved all poor battery life claims.

Got mine on 24th of April, the Exynos version (yes, the one that's supposed to be a battery killer). First Galaxy I've decided not to root so no Greenify, no custom ROMs (kept my rooted S5, ResurrectionRemix 7.1.2, as my daily driver until that one silly drop finally killed it) nothing other than not using location, black wallpaper, disabling some useless (to me) apps and all the basic stuff. Never use Wi-Fi (with a 30GB data plan I don't need to) and even with heavy use it still gives me at least 6 hrs. screen time without dropping below 10% battery. With moderate use it easily gets to 10 or more. Why am I saying all this? To anyone, including all the reviews, talking about poor battery life - I beg to differ.
