Idk but what's with the camera set up..... for this kind of a phone they should've given more.....just sayin...

So, I bought S20+ yesterday. I'm from EU so I got Exynos version.
First impressions:
Excelent screen
Nice looking phone, looks quality
Cons:
Battery life is mediocre (I don't play games. Ever.)
Camera is disaster. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong. Tried with camera reset, but didn't help.
Phone warms up lot more than it should.
All in all, I think I'll exchange it for something else. This phone is not cheap and it should perform better in every way.

And personally, I'm disappointed in how quickly the phone heats up when playing a game for example and within a few minutes e.g 1942, Raiden, Kingdom, even space invaders. My S8 plus wouldn't do that so quickly. I'm not talking Fortnite here and not talking about long periods of mobile gaming.
The battery is also a let down too. Very disappointing.
The fact is that the snapdragon performs better and thats not acceptable in my book. To have two versions of the same phone and one performs much better than the other is not acceptable. I've always defended Samsung but its hard to do so on this occasion.

This model has an unsolved problem of main camera NOT focusing properly!
Most users in our company complained, with no solution in sight.
Probably a hardware problem in camera, ignored by Samsung?

But still iff you look on benchmarks its not much better than exynos. And about photo, if you wanna astrophotografy look for Google Pixel, you save some bucks and you get much better results. On s20+ I try many filters, .raw postprocesing and still photos are bit noisy. For that money its not great phono, true my experience.

Performance = its just so disappointing. Gets warm far too many times and I promise I'm not battering the hell out of it with the most demanding stuff......seriously, I'm not playing games hour after hour. NO! . .....BUT the phone still warms up!
I have exynos variant. I thought perhaps all the stuff on the net was overblown but I'm sad to say, there is much truth out there :(

After 5 weeks I get away my S20+, never again. Lot of things that makes me now hate samsung. Exynos core, disaster. Battery disaster. Camera disaster. Support of not store apps for exynos ridiculous. Weak wifi and 4G antena. Dolby ? just use some cover and you have vibration in hands, not sound. Yes, after one milion updates in next year will things get better, but you buy really expensive phone and you have crap ? Dear, why ? ..... 3 years old iphone gets better bench results ? really? its all I can get from android ? going for iPh for first time, happy saying goodbye for android. Hate me now.

Dipayan, 07 Aug 2020Same problem here. I did my own research and i found out that type c cables are different from one another, i just bought new cable for my s20 plus and it couldnt fit in well but to my suprise, when i tried to use in my galaxy a30 it fitted quite well without the wobbles.

To those complaining about short battery life and overheating, try to wipe cache memory at recovery mode, specially after an update. This solved my issues with S10 and S20+ already.

Ssss, 12 Aug 2020why m not getting August security update......Not everyone receives updates at the same time. It can be sometime between the first to receive and the last to receive the latest update. It can depend on the where you are, the model or even down to your carrier. This is standard. If it's any conciliation, I have not received the August update either.
